Bringing this over from the previous post. Also congrats ranman on first, and to everyone else I’ve missed these past few weeks while working to GOTV. Counting down the hours.. 😊
Just dropping in to post a good 10 min video of Van Jones starting that reconciliation work BoBfr keeps telling us we need to do. Sorry if its already been posted. Counting down the hours now. Hope to get back to TOD to read all the info you are posting. Fingers crossed and saying prayers for so many races across the country.

I just got back from voting for the Obama legacy, freedom, peace, justice – HRC! In my precinct, we use paper ballots that we fill in the oval – I’ve never pushed a lever to vote in my life. What is your voting system? I was voter #136 (out of about 1,800 registered in our precinct in 2012). I have such a feeling of peace/euphoria/satisfaction right now. I know it won’t be over for awhile, but here we go! Happy voting, fellow Americans. 🙂

He looks like he has been drinking a lot since the verdict of his comrades who pointed the finger directly at him. I assume he’s been lawyering up for a possible impeachment and jail time or working hard to keep his comrades quiet with bribes. He does not look well at all but he deserves whatever fate befalls him. He is probably praying for a Trump win so he can be pardoned.

I really, really, really hope she goes over 50%, even if it’s only by a small number, so we don’t hear “the majority of the country did not vote for her” for the next four years. We cannot forget that it is going to be even worse for her than we previously thought given this campaign.

    • November 8, 2016 at 1:23 pm

Quite the difference from Hillary’s finish:

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Gone were the lasers and the smoke machines.

Gone were the glamorous adult children, dressed up and shined as if awaiting their Rose Garden debut.

Gone, even, were the frenzied, angry, overflow crowds — that unlikeliest of electoral nourishment that has sustained Donald J. Trump for nearly 17 months.

Instead, when Mr. Trump took the stage exactly 30 minutes after midnight for his final rally as a candidate, his 34-minute speech felt like an afterthought, the slapdash add-on that it was.

    ….

Still, the send-off hardly seemed the culminating rally that Mr. Trump, a consummate showman, would have chosen for himself.

Shortly after he began speaking, a steady stream of people began to trickle past the metal barricades of the pen where members of the news media are confined at Trump rallies. Some seemed tired and bored; others were Clinton supporters who had come, simply, to see the spectacle up close; and many were die-hard Trump supporters, facing long drives home and trying to get in position to beat the traffic.

Yet by the time he slowly walked off, clapping and raising both fists just above his shoulders in something of a victory shrug, the convention hall was more than half empty.

Actually that’s not the one. This is the original that was broadcasted that night of the election. They wanted to do a 4 years later interview, but they didn’t know who they were or how to find them. So after going through Howard’s yearbooks and putting the word out that they were looking for them. They found them both. They were so excited to find them and made the trip here to catch up with them.

BTW, how is the food business doing? Still going strong, I hope.

Well, not sure about the food business, but I’m still trying to get my runs in everyday. I’ve needed my furry friends to keep my nerves in check during my runs on the trail. We’ll be high-fiving on the trail tomorrow fer sure.

I was thinking about your daughter to the north re food delivery. As for your furry running companions/observers, I bet by now they can identify you and probably have conversations about you. 😀

Oh yeah, my North Dakota #1 born daughter. It’s doing well and she has 3 delivery cities there now. However, now that her #1 is in college, she’s ready to move out of the frozen tundra to warmer climes. Thanks for asking.
btw, replying to a comment has really changed since the last time I posted. I may need a tutorial.

Aha, so young grandson will be coming closer to you, maybe! Sounds nice. 🙂 Good to hear #1’s business has grown; it’ll probably transfer well.
Seems to me you have already mastered the replying. 😀

Fingers crossed, but she’s looking even further south. If not here, I’m hoping for Maryland, in the DC area. I’d be there more than here at home.

He’s fine and away at university. Yes, he had a week off for mid-semester so we spent the first part of it in DC to 😉 check out the GOTV action *and* visit the new museum. DonnaD kindly took us with her one evening after work – it was very encouraging to see how many enthusiastic volunteers were on hand. Can’t wait for you all to sweep DT out of the way by the close of the day!

(Yeah. In retrospect it would have helped if someone who shall remain nameless had left the campaign right after the primaries in NY and PA, so that the Berniebros didn’t get stuck with fake hope of a revolution in their poor little heads.)

Bad adverb choice, Bernie. I hope we defeat him soundly, utterly, absolutely, crushingly, absolutely!

However, if his behavior up to now is any indication, DT will almost certainly take that defeat badly and behave badly upon hearing that he lost.

What are you up to now, MP? There’s no need to peAk in, just step right in and join the crowd. ( 😀 My ‘d’ keeps sticking so I keep typing some weird sentences, which I then have to make sure I double-check.)
