    Of course, I understand this doesn’t help those who had to surrender their visas since the Muslim ban was initiated.

        Think I heard that on MSNBC tonight, as well. This is what the abuse of power looks like.

          So far beyond the abuse of power, it is appalling. I cannot fathom how a single congress person can condone and not condemn everything that has gone down in only 2 weeks. I felt sick to think that self-absorbed lard ass is flying off, at our expense, in the very plane our beloved PBO used to do his worldwide rescue work. It seemed like blasphemy. And to haul his disgusting self to hob knob with the filthy rich at his own private resort, having doubled the membership fee to $200K, since being inaugurated. So only the really ‘useful’ ones can get near him. It is all ludicrous, ludicrous, and surely goes against every grain of acceptable conduct from a US President. I simply do not understand how any of this can be possible. If PBO had tried even one of these outrageous stunts, oh! imagine the uproar. I know they want us agitated, I know they want us to burn out. I know they hope and plan to exhaust us into looking the other way out of sheer disgust and powerlessness. They WILL Fail. We, the People, shall see to it they fail. My guess, however, is the only way we can remove them all, at the same time, is to have the intelligence surveillance prove beyond doubt the election was thwarted by interference and illegally handed to this group of non-humans. Otherwise, it may take years to work through the hierarchy of established successsors, as laid out in the constitution. The electoral college has utterly failed in its sworn duty to prevent exactly this kind of thing from occurring. Utterly failed us as a country. So, I say, ❤️ Keep You The Heart ❤️ Do not lose courage. “Be vigilant, don’t be afraid.” (although there is much to fear).
          I picture the weight of office and the searing hatred PBO lived with all the years he stood straight and proud, while showing the entire world what a true leader and visionary looks like. His flawless example will never be matched, and we have learned a great deal about courage and stamina. So, March on, and remember it’s a marathon, not a sprint. The sun will rise in the morning, as it has done long before humans walked the earth, and will do long after we become extinct. {{{ TOD }}}

    when are we beginning to call out and shame the other CEOs, who routinely claim to be progressive, but are actively supporting the homegrown demagogue?

    i am thinking about the rest of the tech CEOs (saw then showing up at his fake gold place in NY) who are on his economic advisory council but claim to support human rights and against xenophobia?

    you can’t make verbal noise against something but give your brains, time and energy serving the scumbag who is actually doing what you profess to be about.

      I 2015 I did a road trip from Toronto-Chicago-Memphis-Nashville. While I enjoyed the drive for the most part, i did see a couple of huge disrespectful signs about PBO, from my car. Guess I shouldn’t have been shocked …. that’s why reading this about a town in Arkansas is comforting.

    Someone here posted the info that the clip supposedly released by the DoD acquired in the Yemen raid (NOT). Al jazeera and others have very different info from that released by the WH. First, this was not a high value target, rather it was the personal residence of the al-Awlaqi family in Yemen so there would not be the type of intelligence found in the bin Laden raid. Some reports say the most that was obtained was a cell phone and a few thumb drives. Second, civilian deaths may number as high as 50+ which of course plays into AQAP hands and rhetoric. Third, some reports–which appear confirmed by what happened–state the villagers were aware of and ready for the impending raid.

    Finally, I sure would like to know if Kushner and Ivanka, who appear to have been at the dinner, have security clearance to discuss JSOC operations. If so, incredible.

      morning df and everyone else. 🙂 We got home late afternoon yesterday from our daughter’s. A rush and unplanned trip…..few days to help her and give some support and stability to her and the kids. Husband and I have decided that we need to start spending more time there so will probably be taking turns……..couple weeks at a time, then both be home together for a couple weeks, then one of us go back. We can’t do it indefinitely, but it just is what it is for a few months. We all need to do what we can to make it possible for her and the kids to remain in VA until grandson Mason graduates…….3.5 years. He lost his brother, now he’s lost his ‘family’/dad with this separation and impending divorce. They’ve lived there for almost 11 years. Mason does not make friends easily and does not handle new situations easily…….never has. Dealing with all this on top of the awful thing happening to our country (and world) right now……..tough. Difficult to be hopeful, but I try. Thanks for being here for me. Words cannot express my appreciation for this ‘family.’

    Trump is trying to get us into a war with Iran. Where is the outrage from the Republicans about the Russia interfering in our election, Why isn’t Trump upset about that, oh that’s right he won because of Russia help. It seem we got almost 1000 investigations about emails and Benghazi, but nothing about Russia. But if Russia had tried to help Hillary win Republicans would have had a dam fit.

    A Florida golf course owned by President Donald Trump has been ordered to immediately pay $5.77 million to former members who were denied refunds when the real estate mogul bought the club five years ago.

    U.S. District Judge Kenneth Marra ruled that Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter violated contracts that members had signed with the previous owner and were assumed by Trump when he bought the club in 2012. The average payment is expected be about $87,000 for each of the 65 members involved in the case. The members were awarded $4.8 million, plus $925,000 in interest.

    Members complained during an August trial that Trump had ripped them off and that they had lost millions of dollars, the Palm Beach Post reported.

    Trump purchased the club from Ritz-Carlton for $5 million ― which was below market value ― with the understanding that he would honor up to $41 million in refundable membership deposits, according to testimony and documents presented in court, the Post reported.

    Under Ritz-Carlton rules, people had to join waiting lists if they wanted to cash in their memberships and leave. They would have to pay dues until they left, but could also continue to enjoy the benefits of membership. Under Trump rules, members waiting to leave still had to pay dues but could no longer access to the club.

    “We are committed to seeing Trump National Golf Club Jupiter on the list of the best clubs in the world, and if you choose to remain on the resignation list, you’re out,” Trump wrote to members in December 2013, according to CNNMoney.

    Lookie here! He’s even working on pissing off the RICH PEOPLE:) Check out the rules of the Ritz Carlton…then check out the TRUMP rules! Always thinks he deserves something for nothing. Look up “Taker” in the dictionary…you’ll see his mug
