Oh, oh! I’ll never forget this prima dona who refused to ride on Air Force One with PBO because he was a GOP, thus, the opposition. Lost his job because of a scandal shortly thereafter.
I’m a transplant here via Florida and New Jersey! When’s Spring arriving? Already my friends in FL are saying it’s “too hot” to go outside. Poor babies. 🙂
I have friends visiting FL this week; and my nephew is always bitching when he has to visit his dad here. He lives in FL. What the hell do you mean? This IS spring (snark). It’s been a very mild winter. You can thank me – I bought Mr. 57 a snowblower for Christmas so there’s hardly been any snow.
And I do definitely thank you! I lived in NJ for the first 47 years, so I had plenty of “seasons,” before this, but FL kept getting hotter and hotter, I swear. I miss the flora and fauna and sunshine in FL big time – not to mention the people I love who live there – but I don’t miss 95-degree weather from April-November! I used to crack up when I first moved there to hear the weather people EVERY DAY make the words “high of 95, low of 75” sound new and thrilling in their predictions. Ha.
Even if we’re working around the house or out on errands, we either record or watch, faithfully. It’s really important to get those numbers up. Remember, the tea party looked big, got covered as if it was big, and changed the narrative. We have to do the same, and TV ratings for good journalists is part of that picture.
Donald Trump’s transition team said it didn't ask for military vehicles at inauguration, FOI request and it's emails show otherwise #maddowpic.twitter.com/OBGFIvAZ26
Anyone hear the NPR article this morning about repeated lying gets easier over time? I wonder why testimony under oath is considered credible when given by people who are known liars?
He’s gotten a reply that says California’s law is unconstitutional… don’t understand how the First Amendment would factor into this, but obviously some people have reason to think it might (though judging by the tweeter’s handle, he’s not someone I’d be inclined to even pass by on the street).
I certainly imagine they'll bring a First Amendment challenge, but I have no idea how successful that might be. https://t.co/Yic77SKENp
@mattdpearce It is almost certainly unconstitutional, and a few recent convictions have led to the laws being struck down. This could backfire massively
Folks remember how GOP in the Senate rushed to confirm him? Now that NBC is reporting that Manaford had 15 accounts at this Cyprus bank, This Old Billionaire Trump installed is finally quitting his Cyprus Bank Post?

anyone paying close attention to the story of Russia’s attack on US democracy can see :
(a) the various pieces falling together across the globe;
;
(b) how the major participants are:
– long-term players in this scheme;
– making mistakes as they panic with each new revelation;
– attempting to minimize or erase their roles;
– demonstrating how interconnected they are and the level of arrogance as they sought/seek more power and self-enrichment;
– totally without any sense of patriotism or loyalty to country as long as money & power beacon;
– morally bankrupt;
– either uninformed about US and international anti-corruption laws or believe they are above the law;
;
(c) that at the end of the scandal, there could be more than one national leader who looses their power as a result of the corruption disclosed during this investigation
– yes, I am looking at you pompous evil putin as a potential casualty of the mess you created => scandal-blowback may cause putin to loose power as people learn more about the corruption.
Comey will speak at INSA (Intelligence National Security Alliance) today/tomorrow (Wed) night. “Areas of focus for the Director’s remarks include:
Perspectives on the unique role of the FBI in supporting the President and protecting our nation…”
I take this as meaning that Pence can’t trust himself around a woman or alcohol without having “mommy” there to stop him, because other women are all after him (and she’s his protector) and his wife and he like to get smashed together (and thus never drink alone). What else could it be?
Me too. Creepy. And I had to read this with my morning coffee. The ones that crow on and on about women and sex are the ones you have to watch out for…. like this guy. Uber focused on all things female..

In 2008 in Moscow, Donald Trump Jr. told Russian media that “Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross section of a lot of our assets.” New York City real estate broker Dolly Lenz told USA TODAY she sold about 65 condos to Russian investors in Trump World, Manhattan and that, many sought personal meetings with Trump for his business expertise. “They all wanted to meet Donald.
