    Congrats Don!

Morning TOD family……hope everyone will have a wonderful week and that the boom will come down hard on Hair-Hitler very soon.

  2. May 23, 2017 at 12:08 pm

    Wow.

    Thanks, Nerdy.

    (((((((((((Chips))))))))))))))

Morning everyone. There is such a feeling of hopelessness emitted Birther. I can’t even stand to see his face, much less hear anything he has to say. I know PTSD is a huge deal and should not be take lightly, but with this man, I feel like I am suffering from it. The every day nonsense revealed by his sheer incompetence, coupled with this mental decline (to my mind), hurts my heart that so many people voted for this man out of racism, and will haven’t a clue that his policies will damage them, too. I have clients that I worry about that will be definitively hurt by his ignorance.

And while I detest him with every fiber of my being, I equally abhor the Republicans — every one of them. And even more, the ones that try to pretend to take positions, except that it is all for show. I refer to them as the Faux Good Cop GOPers who pretend to be playing against the Bad Cops. The McCains, Grahams, Collins, sometimes Rubio, are all nasty pieces of work. My frame of reference as to their wholesale collusion is watching them ALL vote in lock step with the rest, against EVERYTHING PBO did. So, to my mind, these people are even more dangerous. We know that the McConnells, Ryans, Gowdy, etc. have no hesitation showing their ruthlessness. But these so-called good cops get praised in the media for talking and just talking with zero action to back up what they say about Birther. They are all alike. I detest them all.

Because not for them, Birther’s behind would be dragging across the WH lawn. They are all covering for him, even those in the intelligence with GOP leanings.

I hope Birther and all his goons are busted. But I know this is wishful thinking, as GOP are giving him deep cover, even as some pretend.

Sorry for this rant, but I feel so helpless. I am working in my own community to make small changes, but being in a red district seems like one is making no headway.

Please, never apologize for this rant. You are so right. What makes it worse is all the information coming out now was known, but people ignored it, and still will deny what a disaster Trump is.

Good morning mates & congrats Don…I received the following e-mail and wanted to share it here…enjoy the rest of your day. ❤

"Never forget your friends," Many years ago, a newlywed young man was sitting on a couch on a hot, humid day, sipping frozen juice during a visit to his father. As he talked about adult life, marriage, responsibilities, and obligations, the father thoughtfully stirred the ice cubes in his glass and cast a clear, sober look on his son. "Never forget your friends," he advised, "they will become more important as you get older."
"Regardless of how much you love your family and the children you happen to have, you will always need friends. Remember to go out with them occasionally, do activities with them, call them …" "What strange advice!" Thought the young man. "I just entered the married world, I am an adult and surely my wife and the family that we will start will be everything I need to make sense of my life." Yet he obeyed his father; Kept in touch with his friends and annually increased their number. Over the years, he became aware that his father knew what he was talking about. Inasmuch as time and nature carry out their designs and mysteries on a man, friends were the bulwarks of his life. After 60 years of life, here is what he learned:
    Time passes.
    Life goes on.
    The distance separates.
    Children grow up.
Children cease to be children and become independent. And to the parents it breaks the heart but the children are separated of the parents. Jobs come and go. Illusions, desires, attraction, sex … weaken. People do not do what they should do. The heart breaks. The parents die. Colleagues forget the favors. The races are over. But, true friends are always there, no matter how long or how many miles they are. A friend is never more distant than the reach of a need, barring you, intervening in your favor, waiting for you with open arms or blessing your life. When we started this adventure called LIFE, we did not know of the incredible joys or sorrows that were ahead. We did not know how much we would need from each other. Love your parents, take care of your children, but keep a group of good friends. Dialogue with them but do not impose your criteria. Refer this text to all friends who help make sense of your life …I already did it!!!!!!!

Congrats, Donna, Sakinda (what a beautiful name!) and your son — all bursting at the seams with pride, and rightfully so.

Another young leader that PBO and #FLOTUSforever will welcome with open arms, to lead this country forward (after the devastation and chaos of the current FUBAR admin and congresscritters.

    • May 23, 2017 at 3:32 pm

Wow, she is very, very impressive! You must be bursting with pride for your super accomplished family.

Rep. Tom MacArthur resigned Tuesday as co-chairman of the caucus of GOP moderates known as the Tuesday Group in the wake of deep divisions among its members over the House Obamacare replacement bill he helped craft.

“Clearly, our group is divided. Many in the Tuesday Group are eager to live up to our ideal of being problem-solvers, while others seem unwilling to compromise,” MacArthur, 56, told the group, according to prepared remarks obtained by POLITICO New Jersey.

MacArthur, a multimillionaire former insurance executive who represents the 3rd Congressional District in South Jersey, a swing district, alienated some of his centrist colleagues by brokering the deal on health care reform with the hard-line conservative Freedom Caucus, a move that helped secure the bill’s passage earlier this month.

    Trump’s Budget error = $2,000,000,000,000.
GOP continuing with extreme Austerities for ordinary people and Lavish tax breaks for those at the top.
Same as Republicans did under PBO: When McConnell blocked all Jobs Bills & blocked critical Infrastructure Bill for a full EIGHT years.
GOP still wants to break America, break the American people, bring on a 3rd Great Depression.
    Get them OUT.

This is ENRON math….Jeffery Skilling invented this type of math, with no facts behind these claims that a $5 Trillion dollar tax cut to millionaires and businesses it will result in $2 Trillion in revenue coming back to the government.

In his testimony before the House Intelligence Committee hearing Tuesday morning, former CIA director John Brennan bluntly told lawmakers that during the 2016 election, he reviewed intelligence that showed “contacts and interactions” between Russian actors and people associated with the Trump campaign. By the summer of 2016, Brennan said, he was “convinced” that Russia was engaged in an “aggressive” and “multifaceted” effort to interfere in our election — and as a result, he believed “there was a sufficient basis of information and intelligence that required further investigation” by the FBI.

With this testimony, Brennan just made it a whole lot harder — politically, at least — for the GOP to continue in its efforts to protect Trump, even as scrutiny of his campaign intensifies on the part of the FBI, and now, special counsel Robert Mueller.

And so, again and again, Republican members of the committee, particularly South Carolina’s Trey Gowdy, tried to get Brennan to say that no evidence of Trump campaign collusion with Russian meddling in the election exists. But Brennan repeatedly refused to render a judgment on whether there was collusion. Instead, he only repeated his refrain that, because the CIA is not a law enforcement agency, he turned over its intelligence gathering about contacts between the Trump camp and Russians to the FBI, so that the FBI could conduct its investigation into whether there was collusion.
