trump has no-one to discuss this with. He has lost contact with those who used to be US allies, those who realize his word means nothing and wonder what insanity gave him access to the red button.

Apparently it’s #NationalPetDay. Tomorrow, I am going to meet my new grandcat, a 6 year old rescue my daughter recently adopted. Most Americans love their furry members of the family, but not #45 who doesn’t have one.

I’m okay with a selfish S.O.B. like Trump not having a pet. I wouldn’t want any animal subjected to his awfulness.

    Hello TODbots.
I have zero illusion nor was I surprised that Cowardly Paul Ryan was quitting Congress. I expected and predicted that he would. 20yrs and out and leaving as a Speaker, guarantees most of his higher salary, full benefits, including Healthcare for life. Great pension not afford for any person working for any private Company unless for those leaving their Equity Firms or Major CEOs of Mega Companies. Then of course, KOCH brothers or any of these Huge Firms will gladly become his SugarDaddy.

Paul Ryan legacy gives lie to Beltway’s deficit hawk mythology

Rachel Maddow shows how the Beltway media spun up an elaborate myth about Paul Ryan as a budget hawk focused on reducing spending and debt. Ryan announced his retirement two days after the CBO announced a record deficit resulting from the budget Ryan oversaw.

These SOB’s are only “Deficit Hawks” when Democrats are in office who want to help the middle class. The middle class are so stupid that anything done for them has to go to the wealthy not them so they elect the GOP because the media lies to them and says GOP is better for all the economy when history proofs the GOP is worst for the economy.

I am glad my sister-in-law became a citizen. Before my niece was born she did not want to become a US citizen. Her and her brother came here as refugees as teens. They had family in the USA already so were sponsored by the family. When she graduated from college, married my brother and bought a home, they worked to sponsor her parents to come. I told her as long as she is here and has no plans to return to Vietnam why not become a citizen.

Trump tells top officials to look at rejoining the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a major shift as trade dispute with China escalates

The 11-nation Pacific Rim trade deal was intended by the Obama administration as a way to counter China’s influence, but Trump criticized the pact as a candidate and pulled the United States out of it in early 2017.

Trump gave the new orders to U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow during a meeting with lawmakers and governors on trade issues, according to GOP Sens. John Thune (S.D.) and Ben Sasse (Neb.), who attended the meeting.
