So as I hoped, Mueller was connecting dots about the pay-to-play running through Cohen for months.

I wonder how much more he wants or needs to prove before indictments start coming down?

I love him, and I hope he doesn’t trip up (no signs of that whatsoever, so far). But I would have rather seen him on Lawrence’s show – they’ve developed a good rapport. Rachel did okay, because she asked “different” questions, but that’s my preference. Unfortunately, their producers didn’t check with me, but, hey … 🙂

      Bob Casey
      Kamala Harris
      Martin Heinrich
      Angus King
      Ed Markey
      Brian Schatz
      Jon Tester
      Ron Wyden

McCain, although he will not be present to vote
      Paul

Of course, Manchin is a YES, which will probably be the deciding vote.

Pence says it’s time for Mueller to wrap it up
    May 10, 2018

WASHINGTON (AP) — Vice President Mike Pence said Thursday he believes it’s time for special counsel Robert Mueller to conclude his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and other potential misdeeds by those in the president’s orbit.

“In the interests of the country, I think it’s time to wrap it up.” Pence told NBC News following the release of three Americans held by North Korea.

Pence said the Trump administration has “fully cooperated” with Mueller’s probe, including turning over more than one million documents. President Donald Trump has called the investigation a “witch hunt,” and his outside counsel, former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, has called on the Justice Department to put an end to the probe.

Grassley tries to nudge Supreme Court justices into early retirement
    05/10/2018 09:37 AM EDT

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley on Thursday encouraged Supreme Court justices flirting with retirement to immediately step down, saying he would like to push through a nominee before the midterm elections.

“I just hope that if there is going to be a nominee, I hope it’s now or within two or three weeks, because we’ve got to get this done before the election,“ he told conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt. “So my message to any one of the nine Supreme Court justices, if you’re thinking about quitting this year, do it yesterday.“

Grassley’s blunt talk came as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is racing to fill a range of judicial vacancies with conservatives as a hedge against the chance that Republicans lose the Senate in November.

Las Vegas casino mogul Sheldon Adelson has cut a $30 million check to the House GOP-aligned Congressional Leadership Fund, a massive cash infusion that top Republicans hope will alter the party’s electoral outlook six months before Election Day.

The long-sought donation was sealed last week when, according to two senior Republicans, House Speaker Paul Ryan flew to Las Vegas to meet with the billionaire at his Venetian Hotel.

From the Orange Satan site, this is all too familiar….45’s Administration Foreign Policy is same as Bush II Foreign Policy when it comes to choosing to tear up the previous administration work once an agreement is made to stop rogue countries from getting nuclear weapons.

    Wolfsthal’s Tweets:

In 1994, the United States negotiated a nuclear agreement with North Korea known as the Agreed Framework.

Under the deal, North Korea was to end their nuclear weapons program in exchange for heavy fuel oil, to energy producing nuclear reactors paid for by South Korea, and diplomatic normalization.

The total cost was cheap – a few billion dollars, mostly paid for by the South.

In 2002, The Bush Admin was upset the deal appeased North Korea, a terrorist state with an horrific human rights record, and was convinced North Korea was cheating.

Bush pulled out of the deal. John Bolton was the Chief State Department official and cheerleader for regime change

New NRA president says gun control activists are ‘civil terrorists’

Activists pushing for stronger gun laws are engaged in “civil terrorism”, Oliver North, the former Fox News commentator appointed as the next president of the National Rifle Association, has claimed.

The former Reagan-era security adviser, who was once convicted on charges related to the Iran-Contra affair, also claimed the NRA was the target of a “cyberwar”.

“They’re not activists – this is civil terrorism. This is the kind of thing that’s never been seen against a civil rights organization in America,” Oliver North told the Washington Examiner, a conservative newspaper. “You go back to the terrible days of Jim Crow and those kinds of things – even there you didn’t have this kind of thing.”

Small wonder that Dana Loesch is excited about this racist POS.

These gun humpers can’t wait to paint themselves as more oppressed than POC, and have the gall to project a “terrorist” label onto people who want to REDUCE the number of guns in the hands of people unfit to own or carry them.

The next generation of African-American doctors finds success and support at this university

Xavier University, a small, historically black college in New Orleans, manages to graduate more African Americans who go on to become medical doctors than any other undergraduate institution in the country — a fact that’s even more striking given a drop in black males applying to medical schools. In our series Rethinking College, Hari Sreenivasan reports on what sets the school apart.

Donald Trump, with his feral cunning, knew. The oleaginous Mike Pence, with his talent for toadyism and appetite for obsequiousness, could, Trump knew, become America’s most repulsive public figure. And Pence, who has reached this pinnacle by dethroning his benefactor, is augmenting the public stock of useful knowledge. Because his is the authentic voice of today’s lickspittle Republican Party, he clarifies this year’s elections: Vote Republican to ratify groveling as governing.

Last June, a Trump Cabinet meeting featured testimonials offered to Dear Leader by his forelock-tugging colleagues. His chief of staff, Reince Priebus, caught the spirit of the worship service by thanking Trump for the “blessing” of being allowed to serve him. The hosannas poured forth from around the table, unredeemed by even a scintilla of insincerity. Priebus was soon deprived of his blessing, as was Tom Price. Before Price’s ecstasy of public service was truncated because of his incontinent enthusiasm for charter flights, he was the secretary of health and human services who at the Cabinet meeting said, “I can’t thank you enough for the privileges you’ve given me.” The vice president chimed in but saved his best riff for a December Cabinet meeting when, as The Post’s Aaron Blake calculated, Pence praised Trump once every 12 seconds for three minutes: “I’m deeply humbled. . . . ” Judging by the number of times Pence announces himself “humbled,” he might seem proud of his humility, but that is impossible because he is conspicuously devout and pride is a sin.

my question: during the reports and criticism of pence over the last few days, I do not seem to hear anyone quoting Flynn (Sr.) who said that “he has a story to tell” or Flynn (Jr) who recently said that his father did not lie to pence. why are most people not emphasizing this?
