I won’t be running for office but the first sense I get that a candidate is cast from the Obama mold I will be helping them. I yearn for this change in our way of doing things, the Obama change.

Be the change! Run for office, vote, donate to get these neo-Nazis out of our government! Also shades of those who thought Japanese interment camps were a good idea during WWII. Not to mention how we enslaved and killed our other fellow human beings from Africa and killed off our fellow human beings who were the First Americans.

I like this guy’s style. Yes, of course, he’s a media hound. But even to suggest he might tone it down a bit and get back to “regular programming” in his lawyerly life also shows a bit of his character. In any event, he came along just when we needed him, so I’m good either way. Nobody’s perfect! We shall see.

    THIS is who they are:

A Republican gubernatorial candidate in Oklahomaallegedly argued this week that those unable to support themselves whether they’re disabled, children or otherwise – should view euthanasia as an option rather than burden taxpayers through use of SNAP food assistance. Christopher Barnett – registered to run in this year’s Oklahoma gubernatorial election – told a commenter to his campaign’s Facebook page that “…why are we required to keep them up? Sorry but euthanasia is cheaper and doesn’t make everyone a slave to the Government.”

Though Facebook appears to have removed the comments, he still stands by them as he stated in another comment, “I stand by my comments.”

Can somebody explain why some group is suing the city of Chicago over the planned OBAMA site. Accusation #1 is that it is a
    Bait and Switch operation🤬.

I tell you what – some people are going to fight every good thing the Obama’s try to do.

What is this nonsense with these effing ppl calling the cops? Next time the cops should write these idiots who call them, tickets for wasting their time. Are they that miserable? Racist F’ers with nothing better to do with their lives.
There must be a right / white wing troll site somewhere encouraging their followers to do these shenanigans.

    GA, TODbots.
I have been angry watching over 58 people killed in Gaza. The silence, the lousy US Coverage and the acceptance of this atrocity has been so heavy on me. It was difficult not to tweet out something that would have gotten me temporarily suspended by Twitter. It has happened a number of times before.
Thank You TOD for being here. I did check in yesterday. I lurked at least 2 or 3 times.
Bless you all, especially Nerdy and Chips. Thank you for providing this space.

4 Democratic Senators are planning to vote for YES to Haspel’s nomination to CIA director….

      Joe Manchin
      Joe Donnelly
      Heidi Heitkamp
      Mark Warner….

because Rand Paul…has said that he did not plan to vote for Haspel…the GOP needed at least 1 Dem to cross over…the GOP got 4….i remember how many times ZERO Republicans voted for a democratic measure ….how they refused to confirm judges including a Scotus Nominee…..i just don’t know what to say anymore about them………….

Becoming a princess (or Duchess) while Black has made Meghan Markle’s crazy white relatives engage in the most egregious behavior against her. Greedy and spiteful half brothers, sisters and cousins and questionable acts by her white father. If you are Black in any percentage, the knives are out. Meanwhile, no issues with her unapologetically Black mother whom Harry describes as “amazing.”

Wow, I feel sorry for Meghan that her dad obviously is going through a tough time. I remember when my mom’s boyfriend of many years had to have heart surgery. Before his heart problem was discovered he behaved strange and not very level headed in his late 60’s. After he recovered his weird behavior got worst. I pray his family will stop embarrassing her once she is married. Marriage is hard enough without your family making it worse. Thank God for her amazing mom.

Did anyone watch the made for tv Lifetime movie about Harry & Meghan, real cute and the actors looked just liked them.

    Random thoughts. Here they come.

Sometimes I find Rachel Maddow a bit juvenile. Like tonight when she seems almost jealous of all the facetime Michael Avenatti’s getting “working over” trump. Ugh. I say stand back, Rachel, and let Avenatti have at him. Maybe he won’t tear him apart, but maybe he’ll be able to tear off a limb or two. (Yes, I wrote that.) It’s all hands on deck at this point!

    Carry on.

Just keep-keeping on, Avenatti. Sunlight is all good! Shaming MSM to actually do journalism might just save that field, the so-called 4th Estate.😇

Bad day for Manafort as judge points out his deep Russia ties

Rachel Maddow catches up on the day’s news, including a ruling by a judge who not only rejected former Donald Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort’s bid to have charges dismissed, but also pointed out just how deep and long Manafort’s ties to Russia run, making the charges he faces from Robert Mueller particularly relevant

Qatari admission on Trump outreach presents new dots to connect

Rachel Maddow explains an unusual story in which a Hollywood colleague of Steve Bannon says he was told by a Qatari who is a co-investor in a fledgeling 3-on-3 basketball league that he paid money to Mike Flynn, a story that might not mean anything if the Qatari in question didn’t subsequently admit to meeting with Trump transition officials in December. Jed Shugerman, law professor at Fordham University, offers his best guess at how the dots connect.

Secret CIA torture report kept from senators ahead of Haspel vote

Rachel Maddow explains that in addition to his report on the destruction of videotapes of CIA torture interrogations, John Durham issued a second report on whether anyone lied in the course of the investigation. Given the likelihood that the second report is relevant to Gina Haspel, Democrats are asking to see it before they vote on Haspel’s nomination to lead the CIA.
