Hope I am wrong. However, I predict today @7:35 am that all of them will end up voting for him. As I see it, we have two options in the coming years: Once Dems are back in control, he could be impeached. (I believe this is what K.Harris has set him up for) or two, additional justices can be added to the SC. But…….how much damage done before this could happen???

Don’t you think that the Kavanaugh appointment, so choreographed by McConnell, is more important to GOP/architects than the Election?

Kavanaugh, Trump and Pence would take women back to the 1950’s. Christian Right laws on the lines of Saudi Arabia: Answer to your husband, get rid of women’s vote and tribal vote. Look who elected Trump and backed Roy Moore no problem. Pedophilia, rape and harassment no problem. Women and children = chattel.

Kavanhaugh will not withdraw. He is in between a rock and a hard place now. He is being reviewed by the 9th District for his lies. He is being found out from his past due to the scrutiny of the SCOTUS, the only thing that can save him is if McTurtle pushes ahead with the nomination. ALL the GOP Senators have to decide if their seats are worth this piece of shit Kavanaugh…I would say NAAAAH.

HE IS FILTHY: “Kavanaugh asked everyone involved about this nonexistent affair between Clinton and Foster — even, eventually, Clinton herself. It later became clear that Kavanaugh knew all along that Foster had committed suicide, and that he had used the power and resources of the independent counsel’s office to lend credibility to vulgar sexual rumors about the first lady, in the process needlessly torturing the family of a dead man.”

A bunch of 16 through 17yr old wealthy privileged white kids from “GOOD” families get drunk and attack young girls with NO parental supervision. I was just watching a program this weekend that this white female psychololgist saying that single parent households are detrimental to the family and that women should not bring children into the world with a male in the home. B.S.

    • September 17, 2018 at 11:56 am

Kavanaugh’s friend/witness “admits to having been a blackout drunk during that period. That doesn’t exactly help Kavanaugh’s case. Neither does it help that Kavanaugh later joined a notoriously dissipated and drunken fraternity at Yale and belonged to an equally licentious secret society that even today remains one of the few all-male groups on campus. None of that is evidence that Kavanaugh assaulted anyone, to be sure. But it does call into question the Boy Scout image his sponsors so assiduously created during his confirmation hearings.” (Salon)

Yes, it’s his “Boy Scout image” that’s being put forth, which is particularly galling. I’m for knocking that down, totally. And I’m concerned about all the young girls in sports he’s been “mentoring,” with the permission of their adoring mothers. Sorry to go down that route, but it seems to fit a pattern. Ugh.

This is not a “one time” behavior! Did he ever apologize? or did he continue to behave this way through his adult life? His character was sealed at 17yrs old unless he truly turned around and did things to repent!

I remember in high school, 10th grade, I went to a weekend party with my friends. There was a boy in my class I really liked. We went outside to kiss and he tried to go further, he respected my NO but was mad. The party let out and I could not find my friends. I asked him to walk me home and he said “what do I get”, I told him NOTHING! He refused to walk me home at 1AM so I walked home alone scared to death. I made it home but saw what a jerk he was and we never talked again until graduation. He came up to me and apologized for not walking me home. 17yr olds KNOW right from wrong. This young man KNEW all this time not walking me home unless he got sex was WRONG. BK knows what he did to this young woman and REFUSES to acknowledge what he did was wrong.

These GOP men and women need to ask themselves if their daughters or grand daughters were treated this way, would they want this young man to be anywhere NEAR a judge seat? a judge seat for life?

  32. September 17, 2018 at 12:09 pm

A lot of men think rape and sexual assault are about sex.
Women know that it’s about violence. It’s about the complete domination by boys and men who are taught that women are objects to be violated.
Kavanaugh is a vile liar. I hope he gets ruined.

Christine may have had a similar choice to tell a supportive male, I don’t know but understand if she didn’t. Actually it did happen to me on my 16th birthday. (First boyfriend.) Didn’t know what was happening…it took a long time to process. Never told my brother.

The Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Organization for Women sent out a press release today stating it is changing its endorsement requirements in an effort to only support candidates who speak out against not only “sexual harassment and assault in general, but against known elected perpetrators as well.”

The organization specifically will ask candidates to sign a petition calling for the resignation of state Sen. Daylin Leach (D-Montgomery), state Rep. Nicholas Miccarelli (R-Delaware), and Philadelphia Sheriff Jewell Williams. The candidates who don’t sign the petition, “no matter the reason,” will not be considered for the groups endorsement.
