Today, the Washington Post used yet another “alternative” word to describe trump’s statements: “falsity”

He’s a lying pig. Just say that.

oh, before I go out of the house on this momentous day, I want to say something that I have wanted to and will continue to say:

I know that PBO’s arrival on the political scene created and/or strengthened bonds among people that cross many different socio-economic aspects of life.

One of those is the bond that honored the rich racial diversity of people across all stations of life domestically and abroad.

I want to thank the many non-racial-minority people here on TOD and everywhere who have fought for and defended minorities of during this turbulent time in our history.

I can say that on many occasions, I have been comforted and motivated by the persistent voices and actions from people who were not the primary targets of this racial animus. These are people who may have had nothing to personally gain from standing up for the rights of people like me.

Thank you for challenging those who used their racial history to try to destroy those who are vulnerable.

Thank you for supporting policies that promote diversity and equality and/or correct for past injustices.

Thank you for comforting us when we were hurt.

Thank you for allowing us to vent when we felt we needed to express our anger at those who take pleasure in victimizing us.

Thank you for keeping focus on and working towards equality for all.

Thanks a lot, my brothers and sisters. Let us keep lifting each other up.

I treasure you all. although we may never physically meet, you are always in heart and yes, you have made a huge positive difference in my life.

Let us keep our Eyes on the Prize

Wow – How have parents of today been conned into enabling this stuff? So now the right wing haters are using on-line games to radicalize our children and create violent minds. All humans need human in-person contacts and communities – not televisions and not computers!
      – imo these games are total crap brain-washing and time-wasting of young lives.

Its funny that whenever a voting machine malfunction, the malfunction always favor the Republican on the ballot. You never hear about voting machines switching votes to Democrat.

Should have put this in that comment. I am so glad I hadn’t committed to do something today because I am sick–upper respiratory. The other reason I didn’t is that my Tuesday’s are committed to volunteer service at church. IN the mornings, I do computer at our food pantry. That is closed today because the awning was damaged in our awful storms last night. For the afternoon/evening event, I will go around 3:30 and do all the setup (paper products, plates, silverware, hand sanitizer, etc.) then come home. Had planned on being with our group tonight, but just don’t feel like it.

I am taking my turn to be the greeter. It’s great because we are in an elementary school that is a secure school so all have to be buzzed in and then shown where to go. I get to say go to the left to the left.

In Texas, Floriduh, and Wisconsin, Randi Rhodes is saying DON’T VOTE STRAIGHT DEM TICKET, VOTE INDIVIDUAL DEMS on the BALLOT. Straight ticket votes flip from BETO to CRUZ. Vote for the Democrats individually.
