In Texas, Floriduh, and Wisconsin, Randi Rhodes is saying DON’T VOTE STRAIGHT DEM TICKET, VOTE INDIVIDUAL DEMS on the BALLOT. Straight ticket votes flip from BETO to CRUZ. Vote for the Democrats individually.

1 vote from me for each of ALL the democratic candidates in the State of Ohio – what happens in Columbus Ohio will be mentioned in today’s returns from Ohio ….. here is to victory for those people who have a heart that does not take pleasure in the suffering of others but instead tries to prevent it

I am extending blue wave success wishes to the Obama Diary voting members. I feel so frustrated that I cannot actively contribute to the election of every Dem candidate on the ballot today, but I have been praying that hope, truth and goodness will prevail today in the USA; that tomorrow, Dems will be the majority in your Congress.

NYT list of things to keep watch for”:
    1) Hoaxes about scary people waiting to get you at your polling place; 2) Claims you can vote online or by text (nope); 3) “beware any text messages that tell you that voting hours or locations have changed, that new forms of voter ID are required, or that your voter registration is not valid”; 4) voting machine malfunctions are not unheard-of and you should always check that your machine has registered your vote correctly, but such malfunctions are much less common than the internets would have you believe; 5) misleading photos and videos; and 6) “In the real world, voter fraud is exceedingly rare, but you can expect rumors to fly on Election Day anyway,” and by “rumors to fly” they mean “tweets to emerge from the White House.”

When Republicans pull these tricks in a timely fashion (like on election day) they should not be allowed to get away with it. Should the results in Snellville be suspicious, residents should demand a special election. From what I’ve seen when Repubs try their dirty tricks and ‘win’ they never get the stolen results thrown out, so they keep repeating their cheating habits. Sure their actions are discussed on the news, but that hardly matters when they get to walk away with the prize anyway. They always seem able to keep the rewards when they cheat!

🙂 Good day, TODers. Today my fingers are crossed and prayers are going up for all Americans, and for our world really. So, so hope the American majority can ‘Bring it home’ to Democrats this election. Maybe this time (unlike the last) I can stay up through the verdict without having my heart in my mouth.

“Chairman of the Joint Chiefs says the US military members sent to the southern border will not be involved in denying entry to migrants.” (Vidal)
“Motel 6 to pay $7.6 million for giving guest lists to U.S. immigration agents.” (Reuters)
“Machines Are Down In Houston, Atlanta and Detroit.”(Vidal)
“4-hour lines to vote outside Atlanta due to broken voting machines” (Lerner, Eaton)
“Hours after the polls opened in some minority neighborhoods in Georgia people couldn’t vote because Republicans didn’t provide power cords
    for the voting machines”. (Easley)

So just to be sure, she only voted Democrat because of Kavanaugh? So, all the shit Trump has done didn’t bother her pre-Kavanaugh? All the racism, the misogyny and the homophobia, and the xenophobia were okay, but Kavanaugh wasn’t okay? So, the next election she’s going to go back to voting Republican. She act as though she’s doing us all a favor, GTFOOH!

Well, unfortunately many Republicans are very narrow minded when it comes to politics. They don’t care about issues until those issues directly impact their lives. She’s not doing me a favor but I’m glad for every vote for a Democratic candidate.

My daughter teaches in the Oklahoma City public school district. Today is an official holiday…VOTING DAY. This is an important vote for governor, as only the Democratic candidate for governor supports funding for education. So the district is doing its part in getting him elected.

PBO in Fairfax Campaign office yesterday with Tim Kaine, Jennifer Wexton and donuts.
President Obama: “But what it does mean is things start getting better, and better is really important. Better is really good.
Because if you get that one family health care, and maybe they don’t have to sell their house to make sure a family member is OK. You don’t know what that might lead to. That family could do amazing things. You get one guy who does not have a job who suddenly, because of Tim’s work or Jennifer’s work, gets in a training program and gets a trade, and then comes back home and tells his kids, I got a job and the kids suddenly see
their Dad with a sense of purpose and dignity from work. And those kids do better in school because of it. And they launch careers and they are raising families and suddenly, a whole generation is better just from one election. And you get enough of those things, and you hit a tipping point where some of everything gets a little better, everything feels better, people feel less angry, people did not turn on each quite as much, people started thinking let me treat someone the way I want to be treated. And suddenly, our public discourse, how we talk to each other gets a little better. There is good. Better is important. Better is a start. That is what you are doing. You are going out there and you are going to make sure that people vote and start making things better. And when you do that, then the spirit of America is going to shine, all right?
Let’s get to work, we will vote for Jennifer and for Time, Let’s make sure everybody else does, too. Love you guys.”
    –love ya back PBO!!
