    I was overwhelmed with it all, enjoyed his sense of humor in the beginning, but more then that the History of the song, the History of the 5 black keys, his soulful voice, everything from beginning to end was heartfelt, felt the joy from the Holy Spirit as was inevitable with such a joyful spirit this man has to share with all.     The meaning of the song but the greater reason was who wrote it, why he wrote it, and the change that it inspired john newton to make. Mr Wintley Phipps song it like no one I have ever heard, powerful, proud, and from the soul.

    When Mr.Phipps sang this song and telling the history,it took be back to all of our struggles.I am a senior citizen now and all my life I have sung this song.Every day I thank God for everything good or bad that has happened to me,because it could have been worse.Trust me, it was truly Gods Amazing Grace that bought us this far.

I met him in Atlanta, easy to talk, and also humble, he give a full credit to the Lord for his voice. He is a Seven Day Adventist and his words reflect the love for God and the love for people.
