Oh me too! What an amazing First Lady we have and what phenominal President we have. If only Americans could appreciate our blessings.

“if only Americans could appreciate our blessings” I say this line often.

So true. We never know what we have until it’s lost. That’s why history will remember PBO and Mrs. O so well. They really will go down as one of the very best Presidents and First Lady in our history. Imagine, 10, 20, 30, 100 years from now, future president’s will be quoting PBO. Future prime ministers will be quoting and modeling themselves after him. Our guy is international and by virtue of his very self, he will become universal and because of that, well remembered and loved.

This is why the media and the pundits don’t and will never understand her. See it is not about the clothes, or the make-up, or shoes, or her behind, or arms, etc., it’s about her heart. It’s about reaching out to those who are consider less than, those who wasn’t born with a silver spoon in their mouth, reaching out to them and letting them know that you too can be anything you want. You are just as good as the others, yes you can. Just look at her. She is an example, that you can indeed make it. That is Michelle Obama. A woman I am darn proud of, and it makes no difference what the haters say, the media ,they are just jealous, or stupid or both.

The video commentor said “although she is clearly not, she seems ordinary”. This is true. She’s clearly special and extraordinary, as with her husband. The children they’re raising are extraordinary. And yet, they are human. They know who they are. Brilliant!

Aniebella, the media and others are very aware of the amazing greatness and package our PBO and FL are and that is why they are doing everything to damage and or contain them!
But you can’t hide bright lights under a bushel! May God continue to bless and protect our extraordinary President and amazing First Lady! Amen!

I’m smitten by her too, from the first moment I heard her speak during the primaries- my thought was how much I’d like to invite her over for a cup of coffee and a chat- she is my kind of woman and she along with her amazing husband make me so proud in so many ways. I’m really really glad she has been able to keep up with these young ladies, I suspect she always will.

I am just thankful that our President and First Lady have so many others who love them and really appreciate them for the goodness in their hearts and their deeds. I am hurt when I hear the ugly, hateful, and disrespectful talking about them. They give so much to so many, and yet receive so little from those who are to know better. It is sad when hate and jealously take up residence in one’s heart. But POTUS and FLOTUS always rise above the hate. So let us continue to love them with all that we have in us. They need us now, and we need them also. We will give thanks for the goodness that we saw and enjoyed today, so we will be able to receive more tomorrow in our lives.

“although she is clearly not, she seems ordinary”

If I may gloat a bit…I had the honor of meeting the FLOTUS during the campaign. I was so excited and weepy, but I got a big hug from her and was able tell her how much they meant to me. The above states exactly what I felt and still feel about her. She’s an amazing human being, she’s married to an amazing human being and raising amazing children. I’m getting choked up again.

Oh, and BTW: Just for the record…this probably won’t be last time I mention that I met Michelle Obama…LOL!

UNTIL THE PRESIDENT AND FIRST LADY CAME ALONG…EDUCATION WAS INDEED NOT A HIGH PRIORITY IN AMERICA…I AM THANKFUL TO HAVE THEIR INFLUENCE IN OUR COUNTRY NOW BECAUSE IT IS SORELY NEEDED. THE REPUBLICANS HAVE ALWAYS PLACED CORPORATE GREED BEFORE THE NEED FOR EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL OF OUR CHILDREN! THE TIMES…THEY ARE CHANGIN!!!!! THANX TO THE OBAMAS!

Every time they are around children the connections they make are electric. They are so aware of their position as models but they are obviously so genuine and natural, no one feels as if they are being “modeled” at. They are totally dedicated to making sure everyone has a fair chance.
