Hey hopefruit, I used to watch them because I needed to hear the lies, but now - oh man! - how good are they now!!! Clinton’s actually weren’t so bad, except, he loved to use flowery big words (still do). I had grudging respect for Pappa Bush (poor fella) and it went downhill when little Bush was in power (clueless!)

This has followed a similar trajectory as the WHCD which would usually get just a mere mention in the news the following day, but was not the event that it has become in the recent years. I mean, I don’t recall caring to know who Laura Bush’s invited guests were - do you? :) :)

I’m intrigued by how many pastors there are in the US - sometimes I wonder if they take on the tag to get tax free housing! Do they have a Divinity Degree? In my world most pastors do indeed have such a degree - and there are very few of them.

My GOP Rep Luke Messer is one of the idiots saying they must have a concession to pass the debt limit. They’re like little kids drawing up a Christmas list as they try to figure out what they will ask for. POTUS has said no repeatedly. Pelosi says no. The Democrats say no. I call, email and tweet him.
