Loving the photos of the First Family. Prez is looking “dap” as my dad would have said. Off to have apple pie ala mode after a dinner of roast leg of lamb, fresh green beans with potatoes and wild rice. I wonder what the First Family had for dinner today?
It’s really amazing how impossibly handsome he gets with each passing day. Likewise, FLOTUS just gets more beautiful. All this despite the torrents of hatred and pettiness levied at them 24/7.
Oh, I’m quite sure he’s beside himself at the maturity of both his “girls.” They are so stunning and accomplished at even this young age, his heart must swell with pride.
I bet POTUS and FLOTUS heart swell with pride of their daughters, because when it’s all said and done they are the most important things in this world to them. I always remember POTUS speech to the men at Morehouse U at last year graduation.
He said something like when time on this earth is coming to an end, he won’t be thinking about him being President or anything like that, but he will be thinking about his family, Michelle and the girls, the time he spent with them, how their life were.
Did anyone watch all of ABC’s World news this evening? Because unless I missed the segment, they didn’t once mention the First Family on Easter Sunday, even though they devoted two whole segments discussing Easter activities/celebrations here in the US and across the globe, including a fawning segment about the Royal Family who spent Easter in Australia.
Someone please tell me that I missed the segment where they reported on the First Family…
hp2, I didn’t even need to watch ABC news to know that you are telling the truth. The only thing you need to know about ABC is that they employ both Jonathan Karl and Laura Ingram.
I did not watch ABC, CBS, or NBC evening news, because all we are getting is coverage of William, Kate and George, more coverage of them then we got when FLOTUS was in China, or POTUS last overseas trip. I don’t mean any harm but I don’t care one bit about seeing the England royal family. Remember all the media kept talking about was FLOTUS soft diplomacy, comparing what she wouldn’t say to what Hillary did say. Well was has been the purpose of William and Kate trip?
I just finished my Easter dinner at work; I had battered fried chicken with an exotic mix of spices on a bed of red beans and rice. Buttermilk Biscuits and a beautiful drink consisting of picked wild cherries and coke. And for dessert I had baked Washington apples tucked nicely inside a toasted crust infused with cinnamon.

I really like Paul Krugman - probably because his economic reality is 100% correct - it reinforces all I studied at Uni - so many years ago. So many have argued against Keynes - but have fallen by the wayside while each downturn and subsequent government led recovery has proven Keynes is/was correct.
