:-) I still haven’t found (I sound like Bono) the original brush, but a little rooting around found an old one - so I am gorgeous again. The whereabouts of the original, though, remains a mystery - and Danny certainly hasn’t pooed it out yet.

Exactly my question yesterday! Clueless, self-important idiots! They are so full of themselves they fail to realize how ridiculous they look or sound. But then, the other minions seemed locked into their part in the play.
Honestly, Amk, the advent of PBO on the (inter)national scene has shown me exactly how simply ridiculous and empty the whole media and political scene has been. What continues to amaze me is that in 5+ years they haven’t found a way to regroup or to mask their nakedness. It’s like they have one approach, and they will stick with it no matter that PBO’s leadership shows it won’t work any more. smh
I watched the PBO PC y’dday live on Aljazeera and the first shot is these idjits standing there like dumbasses.
I was happy that the kenyan didn’t call any of these mofos for questions. Looks like, on serious PC’s, these idjits are ignored.

Watching PBO in action in that presser was very impressive to me. It was like he came in knowing he had, and being ready, to TEACH. He knew the nature of his students and he patiently repeated the lesson more than once. I was embarrassed for them - it being televised and all - but I was so proud of this leader who ‘likes to know what he’s talking about before he speaks’.
This is clearly the major difference between PBO and all the other jokers who crave time at the public mike. Sure hope young democrats with leadership hopes are taking notes - know your subject; research world history and geography; BE INFORMED WITH THE FACTS, then you can make informed judgement!

Truth is they aren’t wearing me down any more. In the early stages I was HUGELY incensed at their disrespect, etc. etc. and had such rage in my heart towards them it was just as well our paths never met! I haven’t accepted it, but I’ve long since come around to the ‘please proceed’ view, even before PBO labeled it for us. ;) After all, when you lance a boil the stuff that seeps out is not pretty; it simply clears the way for real healing.

VC, it’s clear that the right-wing owned media colluded together to try to destroy our President’s legacy, especially when it became clear that he was not going to be beaten in an election. Because he’s outshone them time and again with his brilliance, extraordinary achievements and political genius, they have doubled down and, in doing so, have become “obvious” to anyone with eyes to see. They make fools of themselves in international arenas, ask increasing stupid and obnoxious questions and spout talking points that are almost always proven wrong in less than a week. I have ZERO respect for any of them and turned them off a long time ago.

Hi, Honeybun! You are looking friz-less and lov-a-ly this morning, I must say!
Lately, I’ve been impressed with the number of local campaign activities being set up already in our area. The chance of beating Corbett in the fall has people revved up and ready to go. We got days of action, fundraisers, registration events, phone banking and a whole lot of other activities going on, all of which is great, but also exhausting if we don’t pace ourselves. The big fear locally is that Democrats will read the polls and decide that Wolf is so far ahead of Corbett that they don’t have to come out to vote. So that’s the major task for GOTV because high Dem turnout is going to help even the marginal Dems. I have to confess, though, that I need more “off time” than I did in earlier years and revving into high gear this early is just a little daunting. Anyone else finding this?
Grrrrrrrrr——-the weather. We’re going for a long weekend meet-up with fam at a lakeside resort in Wi. today——and the weather is poopy and the forecast is poopy——chance of rain and tstorms every day. Sigh. Hopefully there will be intermittent dry spells where everyone can run out and do their planned outside activities. And at least——all my kids and grandkids!
The kids and grandkids are MAJOR compensation for weather. It’s not a bad trade.
So from my TL, it appears that PBO is geared to give Morning Mika an interview.

I don’t get the big deal on Twitter about a male felon who happens to be very handsome. Yes, he’s cute and desirable in the physical sense. But If there’s nothing much else going on (besides criminal activity), all his sex appeal will eventually fizzle out. At least that’s my take.
People are always dying to make the next celebrity. It’s insane. This guy was interviewed on my local news last night because he’s in this area and he said he doesn’t get it either. He’s married and has children and said it’s all very weird. So - just a bunch more stupid.
