Twitter LOVES our First Dogs! I’m really enjoying these tweets! LOL Bo and Sunny must’ve had some fun with all that fuss and good-natured ribbing from the Twitter folks :)

The height of ignorance. These are the people who would take over our country, if we let them. Freedumb.

The police chief couldn’t handle the situation and erred in the long run. Yeah, but there was one small, good part of this story of ignorance and its domino effect. Even he decided being a Republican was idiotic and changed his registration over to Independent, and at least that got publicized.

            “Dear Youth of America,

Last week, Congress once again failed to pass student loan reforms. Members of our government are trying to make the case for military action in Iraq. Our environment continues to deteriorate. The Koch Brothers just hosted a summit for lawmakers and billionaires. A fight is underway to maintain net neutrality. States are attempting to limit access to women’s health care and birth control. Other states are trying to make it harder for college students to vote and have removed voter pre-registration programs for high school students.

These are just a few of the issues that directly affect you. Hopefully, you’re paying attention and are already aware of at least some of them. If you were born between 1982 and 2003, here is a fact you might not be aware of:

Millennials will comprise more than one in three of adult Americans by 2020.

If you are paying attention to the issues and think you’re powerless, you couldn’t be more wrong. If you’re disgusted to the point you’ve tuned out on participating in solutions, it’s time to turn the volume back up. If you think the answer is to be so anti-establishment that you refuse to participate, it’s time for you to get involved and reflect the change you want to see in the establishment.”

I agree that this needs to go viral for all to see and for DEMs to get off their butts and vote for these kids future. I have never taken my vote for granted and voted but PBO made me realize I need to get involved, donate what little I can and actively participate, knock on doors, talk to people that they have to take the time and register and make sure they vote. I feel partially responsible for not fighting back these rwnj religious zealots during Ronald Reagan and Prop 13 that helped destroy public education in CA.

    Evening friends.

We’ll at least draw with Germany, which will book us for the next round.

Just got back from dinner at my brother’s house. Our cousin from FL was visiting. Met her daughter for the first time. Wonderful evening.

    See everyone on the flip.

Man, the crazies have been out tonight on Twitter. At one point, because I was a little tired and allowing myself to get sucked in, I had to take a break and realize - luckily - I don’t even “know” these people. Had to walk around and go eat something sweet!

So glad the people I do know and spend time and energy on, in my real life, are definitely NOT RWNJs. Eek. That people waste their lives hating on other people so intently just makes me feel nauseous.

Another reason why I am forever grateful that a man named Barack Obama ran for President and serves every day as a fine example of how to be morally strong and have a heart that actually opens itself up to others, no matter whether some appreciate him or not. God certainly has blessed him.

Very funny tweets, thanks for sharing them, NW! Keeping fingers crossed for Thursday. Unbelievable hate going on in the US; always against Obama and ANYTHING he does or says, against Bergdahl, student loans, EVERYTHING. Praying that those bloodthirsty lunatics in Iraq can be stopped without shedding any more blood….. bring on the diplomats!
