This is what happens when the media dangerously jumps to report stuff from anonymous “sources” in their efforts to make PBO or his administration look bad. Innocent people get caught up in these stories and wind up losing their jobs for no apparent reason. I always felt something was amiss with this sudden onslaught of SS “failures” being reported in the MSM day after day. WaPo didnât get played - they were part of the problem in the first place.
And they chose a black man as an example !?
We at TOD were screaming to high heavens about the questionable WaPo article and the “leaks” that were occurring.
I distinctly recall HF2 suggesting that the “leaker” was a GOP plant, and as Iâve said before, I trust her instincts — sheâs got a nose for identifying media fraud.
After reading the article, it sounds like Kenneth Tate was set-up, and that the Secret Service completely overreacted to his snapping some photos.
I wonder whatâs up with that?
After reading the NYT article (thanks for posting), I feel a bit sorry for the guy. From his account, he didnât know that he was doing anything against the SS protocol, whether it was having the gun his employer gave him or taking picture of the Beast.

Great round up, NW! I am always grateful when PBO gets to see the crowds waiting for him and listening to him. The enthusiasm hasnât gone anywhere and the majority — yes, I said the majority! of this country still wishes him well. Despite it all, he is still beloved.

:) :) :) :) PBO flew in from Connecticut. Iâmâ pretty sure he stopped at the Steel worker union hall on Delaware ave and then came up to Liacouras. You had to have tickets and the joint was jumpinâ!
Mayor Nutter got booed, and knew to quickly switch to talking about Wolf, Temple and PBO to get the crowd back to happy! Wolf was well received. He was good; realistic about the situation in PA and sober about how far we have fallen in the jobs category (49th). He quoted the PA constitution re: a ‘fair and efficient public educationâ and mentioned PA being next to last in jobs. He was factual, but funny, too.
He said “I know who you all came to see.” Someone in the crowd shouted “We came to see you!”
He laughed and said “Is that you, Mom? Thanks.”
PBO was PHENOMENAL!! As always. He got the crowd fired up. He pumped up folks to vote for Wolf and a host of other candidates (Who arenât running away from him!) All in all, a great evening. I know the city well enough to park in the ‘hood. Since we parked a few blocks north of Liacouras Center (Temple Universityâs sports arena), we just walked back to the car and easily got out of the traffic. :) :) :) :)

It was a good day of GOTV
We gave out campaign literature at the metro stations early afternoon. Then made calls to GOTV and I ended the day with data entry. Steny Hoyer and the Democratic Chairperson for the state (Yvette Lewis) came by the office today. We have a big GOTV rally tomorrow night with Gov OâMalley and all of the MD legislators.

It looks like I missed some really good rallies today. Folks turned out big time. I see our PBO fired up the voters in CT and PA for Tuesday. !
The media hates that. PBO is one of the DEMsâ greatest GOTV tools - no wonder the media has spent the last two years trying to marginalize him with their nonstop “unpopular” and “all time low” narratives. But it appears that most Dems can see thru the MSMâs B.S.
