    Here is a 20 minute interview Josh Earnest did today using Meerkat & Stinwire:

    “…Asked Friday why the White House was not taking Netanyahu at his word, White House spokesman Josh Earnest retorted, “Well I guess the question is: Which one?” Earnest said the Obama administration did take Netanyahu at his word — and understood that the prime minister does not envision a Palestinian state being established during his term in office. “The divergent comments of the prime minister legitimately call into question his commitment to this policy principle and his lack of commitment to what has been the foundation of our policy-making in the region,” Earnest said. Netanyahu had prompted questions about his “true view” on the two-state solution, the spokesman added. “Words matter.”

    Asked whether Obama got a better understanding of Netanyahu’s position on a Palestinian state after talking with him, Earnest also said Friday: “That was not the result of the call.” Earnest said the administration has not decided what a reassessment in policy might mean. But he noted that in the past, the US has regularly opposed UN resolutions to create a Palestinian state by arguing that such a two-state arrangement should be negotiated between the parties. “What has now changed is that our ally in those conversations, Israel, has indicated that they are not committed to that approach anymore,” Earnest said….continued”

    Since March Madness started yesterday….

    1rst time NFL Draft is not going to be at Madison Square Garden since televising it (Great guide for everyone who will be in Chicago)

    This kid got a 2 million dollar signing bonus but decided to live in his van for MLB Spring Training

    “A new viral video that highlights ways guns have been involved in tragedies is drawing heavy criticism from conservative media and from a National Rifle Association affiliate group that wants a criminal investigation into its creation, based on the group’s mistaken belief that real guns were illegally used in the video. On March 17, gun safety group States United to Prevent Gun Violence (SUPGV) released a video debunking the notion that gun ownership makes a person safer. (Research has demonstrated that owning a gun increases the risk of death or injury.)

    SUPGV conducted a “hidden camera social experiment” to record the reactions of potential gun buyers at a fake gun store they had set up in Manhattan. When prospective purchasers inquired about a firearm, the clerk informed the customer of tragedies — including mass shootings and unintentional shootings involving children — that involved the use of that particular model of firearm. Hidden cameras recorded prospective gun buyers’ shocked reactions…continued”

    I included a link to the gun history website in the tweet….it has facts, video and news reports about each gun

        I’m not sure what purpose it serves…quite frankly, if I was working for Twitter, I would offer this to corporate twitter accounts for a premium. Instead of looking for ad revenue (sponsored tweets)… you could sell this data to show how effective your digital team was. IDK

      MP, I’m glad you asked that question. I’ve wondered if there were multiple Nerdys working round the clock to find suitable tweets. Then there’s the Nerdy who summarizes speeches like she was born to it and the one who seems to be awake 24 hours a day. Someday, Nerdy, you will solve the mystery and let us know how-in the name if all that’s holy- you manage to deliver so much brilliance every day.

            Belated good evening - been reading NW’s tweets and links - which were fantastic - then discovered our TV is not showing the game from NZ - and I became most cross - the 1% is alive and well in Australia.

      And our lame stream media refuses to televise any match that Australia is not playing. Less than 20% of Australians have cable TV & these are the only ones who can see the game. If India beats Australia in the semis it would seem we will not see the final

      In times past EVERY cricket match was televised - but packer and his crew purchased the game and now only show to paying customers

        The Supreme Court on Friday ruled that national broadcaster Doordarshan (DD) can show Team India’s World Cup 2015 cricket matches free of cost. The apex court dismissed the plea of Star Sports - the official broadcasters of the tournament in India - and said that Prasar Bharti can share the feed with cable operators. The semifinals and the final will also be shown on the channel.

    My two cents >>FTR that vice-principal saying ‘I just don’t like the black kids’ could simply be a guy with an odd (read as ‘dry’) sense of humour. Looks to me like something that was taken out of context. I would bet that the kids video taping and those talking to him were black.

        NoSpin, it actually sounds like something I would say in just such a deadpan voice, depending on who (i.e black kids) asked the question. Let’s face it, teachers do not generally discuss who they like/don’t like so casually with other kids.
