    “It’s not just Democrats and White House officials who’ve got problems with Benjamin Netanyahu. Blasting “diplomatic missteps and political gamesmanship,” former Secretary of State James Baker laid in hard to Israeli prime minister on Monday evening, criticizing him for insufficient commitment to peace and an absolutist opposition to the Iran nuclear talks…Baker said while Netanyahu has said he’s for peace, “his actions have not matched his rhetoric.” Some Republicans in Congress have claimed President Barack Obama has eroded American support of Israel. That’s wrong, too, Baker said. “No one around the entire world should ever doubt America’s commitment to Israel, Not now, or at any point in the future,” he said…..

    …Earlier in the day at the conference, White House chief of staff Denis McDonough reiterated Obama’s frustration with Netanyahu, saying that the administration is holding the prime minister to his comments ruling out a two-state solution — even though Netanyahu immediately began to walk those comments back the day after his Likud Party won a resounding number of seats in the Israeli Knesset.             A general noticed one of his soldiers behaving oddly. The soldier would pick up any piece of paper he found, frown and say: “That’s not it” and put it down again. This went on for some time, until the general arranged to have the soldier psychologically tested. The psychologist concluded that the soldier was deranged, and wrote out his discharge from the army.

            The soldier picked it up, smiled and said: “That’s it.”

    Thank you Chips and NW for all the great coverage today! I am just watching the video of the science fair, it is so cool. Question here-did events like this happen under previous presidents? Never paid much attention before. Just can’t imagine what a great motivator this is for all these young scientists!

      Nope. President Obama is the one who created events like the White House Science Fair, White House Students Film Festival, Maker Faire; and of course, First Lady Michelle Obama created the Kids State Dinner. :)

    A lady calls the police to report her husband is missing. The police arrive and ask for a description. She tells them he’s 6 feet 2 inches tall, blonde wavy hair and has a smile that makes everybody love him.

    The police then go to the next door neighbor to verify this report and the lady next door tells the police, “What? She’s lying. He’s 5 feet 4 inches tall, has no hair and he wears a perpetual frown on his face.”

    The neighbor then goes and asks the lady why she gave the police such a false report. She replies, “Just because I reported him missing, doesn’t mean I wanted him back!”

    Three guys go down to Mexico one night, get drunk and wake up in jail. They find out that they’re to be executed for their crimes but none of them can remember what they have done.

    The first one is strapped in the electric chair and is asked if he has any last words. He says, “I am a priest and I believe in the almighty power of God to intervene on behalf of the innocent.” They throw the switch and nothing happens; so they figure God must not want this guy to die, and let him go.

    The second one is strapped in and gives his last words. “I am an attorney and I believe in the eternal power of Justice to intervene on the part of the innocent.” The switch is thrown and again nothing happens.

    Figuring the law is on this guy’s side, they let him go. The last one is strapped in and say’s “I’m an electrical engineer, and I’ll tell you right now, you’ll never electrocute anybody if you don’t connect those two wires.” God rest his soul.

    Afghan President Ghani Thanks U.S. At Pentagon

    Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has begun a U.S. visit by thanking the United States for its support during 14 years of war.

    Evoking late President John F. Kennedy in remarks at the Pentagon on March 23, Ghani said: “We do not now ask what the United States can do for us.”

    “We want to say what Afghanistan will do for itself and for the world,” he said. “And that means we are going to put our house in order.”
