We knew this was in the making for months, LP. It’s going to be very interesting to watch what they do, but without doubt they are way the hell overextended, globally.

BTW, the last thing they need is for the #IranDeal to fail; same for Vlad.

GM, Bob! …..yes, there are so many factors to why the Chinese & Russians really need this deal to come through…the most obvious tertiary benefit worldwide would be cheaper oil (also why S. Arabia doesn’t like the fact that we won’t be as dependent on OPEC….which is already happening)

Had the pleasure of meeting Jim Kim when he was Pres of Dartmouth. (My husband is an alum.) Totally cool man. Love it that he’s now playing golf on the Vineyard with the Totally Most Cool Guy… Our POTUS.

Actually, this is a real issue: with municipal budget cuts (thanks, GOP), smaller towns make all of their revenue with chicken shit tickets, arrest warrants, etc. This is for revenue, but it taints forever the actual citizens. It’s a super big issue that has to be addressed as we push to fix the broken police system throughout the U.S.

I don’t think Cooper was saying all of these people are guilty - that’s the point: everything becomes arrest-worthy so they can bring in more revenue.

Talk about strange weather, we just had a storm go thru Missoula, with winds at 57mph and gusts at 79mph. Fires started by lighting, trees blown over, power outages, roofs ripped off, and we got some rain. We were lucky at my home we got everything down that could blown away except for lattice work on our porch that got all blown off. Now it is all quiet and peaceful and the air smiles so fresh and clean. What a night.

This is great! She was one of those listed by Greg Sargent as possible defectors. Opponents now have to run the table.

Heading off to dreamland … but first, does anybody know if Bernie Sanders is attracting any non-whites to his rallies? I see the crowd shots and I dunno. I’m curious about that because I don’t see much diversity among his followers.

    Goodnight, TODville.

A few. And there is no question that his economic policies would benefit everyone (of course that is true of a decent Democratic economic platform in general).

I don’t think he planned on the fact that his campaign would draw heavily emoprog supporters and those who think PBO didn’t deliver enough unicorns for them. For all the denials from his supporters that are deranged (and I’m making a distinction here), Bernie was pretty damned terrible to PBO - his language was 100% emoprog. I’m not saying he didn’t agree with PBO some of the time, but when he didn’t he was the voice of an intelligent Ed Schultz. So it should be no surprise that Bernie needs to court the Obama supporter. He and his campaign should be more sophisticated by realizing this and should he be more skilled in rhetoric.

He is a staunch ideologue and his appeal is that he ostensibly won’t compromise his “principles”. If he truly believes his own tone, he is unfit to be POTUS.

Like Trump, I don’t think Bernie ever thought he’d be a real contender and only hoped to push Hillary leftward. Her rhetoric has changed to emcompass a stronger populist tone than she might otherwise have had. She has adapted, Bernie is slow to adapt.
