THEY COULD TAKE THEM ALL FOR A CHOPPER RIDE…IF THEY HAD ONE!…FLAP YOUR ARMS BOYS!…LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL! I WONDER IF THE DONALD GETS DRESSED IN A PHONE BOOTH KEPT AT HIS MANSION JUST TO STORE HIS CAPE AND TIGHTS?
She has 5 kids.
2 boys and 3 girls.
She often spoke of “some issues” with Lily while on The View. She left the show for “Family” issues……difficulties with 2nd wife, managing stress…..she had a heart attack and also she had open heart surgery.
I hope they find her daughter, Lily. Lily has not been taking her meds, so the report states.
That President Obama is blowing the stereotypical doors at the White House WIDE open. I wish Raffi all the success during her time in the Obama Administration.
Writing in a Politico op-ed posted late Monday, the former secretary of State said “Bush’s brazen attempts to rewrite history in a series of campaign appearances last week cannot go unchallenged.”
“By blaming President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for the rise of [the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria], Governor Bush is clearly seeking to absolve his brother’s administration of responsibility for today’s problems in Iraq. This argument may serve Governor Bush’s political interests, but it does a disservice to the truth,” Albright wrote.
Albright hit the former Florida governor’s “emerging narrative” about the Iraq War, noting that his brother, former President George W. Bush, penned the withdrawal date for U.S. forces at the end of 2011.
Albright also said Bush’s ideas for combating ISIS in the Middle East “look remarkably similar” to what the Obama administration is doing, including emphasizing the role of the local military in Iraq.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to post this again ….

These GOP *leaders* are so small-minded, so self-centred, so bigoted that even with the world saying we need this deal as a step forward for the ME and the world they cannot be swayed from their attack against PBO. They see no further than their noses and their ears are deaf to the cries of others!
IMO @thehill, it's instructive that @SenateMajLdr is still so focused on "Obama" he cannot see the broader picture! pic.twitter.com/0D6kBPebmz
The thing about these guys that always causes me to shake my head, Nena, is that they never seem to show one iota of awareness of the country *as a whole*! They’ll preserve the pork of their immediate constituents to ensure being re-elected, but they never seem to do anything for the broader world. Such narrowmindedness at such a high level of governance is truly sad.
McConnell’s whole world seems to be wrapped up in hatred of President Obama. That makes him both a terrible Senate leader and a disaster for the country. I haven’t been able to follow the likelihood of the Dems retaking the Senate, but this hideously incompetent man has to go.
This is the shooting that has received little to no attention. This is the football player who was shot 10 times after he was trying to get help after he had an auto accident. Black and unarmed. This incident happened shortly before the one where the kid ran his truck through an auto dealer window. Much attention was given to that incident and none to this one.
http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/jonathan-ferrell-killing-jury-deliberates-north-carolina-officer-randall-kerrick-n411901
Before the confrontation, Ferrell had been in a car accident and staggered to a nearby house for help. The woman inside called 911 to report a possible break-in and Kerrick responded with two other officers.
Laughrum said dents on the homeowner’s door indicate that Ferrell was trying to break in and the fact that Ferrell was not armed does not mean he couldn’t injure the officers. Kerrick, 28, testified on Thursday that he thought Ferrell was going to harm him and another officer and that he feared the 24-year-old would try to take his gun during the Sept. 14, 2013 incident. Kerrick fired at Ferrell 12 times, hitting him with 10 shots.
In closing arguments, defense attorneys focused largely on the moments leading up to the point in which Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer Randall “Wes” Kerrick shot former Florida A&M University football player Jonathan Ferrell, 24. Attorney George Laughrum recounted that another officer at the scene had testified that Ferrell approached Kerrick in “a charge and a bull rush.”
When juries stop believing a word that “other officers at the scene” have to say, things might change. As well, it is time to charge said other officers with perjury.
I don’t know if this is stating the obvious or a help but here is another way to look at the Iran Deal count:
41 Yes votes mean the Deal stands. Period.
There are 44 (D) senators+2 (I) = 46 possible Yes votes.
Schumer and Menendez are No votes. 46-2=44
Three more (D) can vote No and The Deal still Stands. So, if Wyden and 2 others vote No they will ruin their good names but not PBO and The World’s historic deal. Go ahead, fools.
Angus King and Bernie Sanders are the (I) votes and they are both Yes.
It’s not that the deal necessarily “stands”. It means Dems could filibuster it and prevent it going to a vote.
I can see Harry Reid being magnanimous and letting it go to a vote anyway. Sigh.
I’m not confident that the backstabbing Dems won’t at least be shy of a filibuster. Remember, the bill to allow this effing unprecedented role of Congress in a deal like this, was veto-proof. That was to “have a say”, belittling this giant of a man we have as POTUS and the brilliance of Kerry, Moniz and the other members of the team.
34 is still the magic number, Vicki, to sustain the veto. And even those who vote against can change their vote to override the veto, and vice versa. This torturous task will happen again.
Unless we get to 41. Too many variables out there.
BAM. Honest to God…they really mean this and they have just been forced to say something else for SO DAMN LONG they can’t keep it inside anymore… Look at that “outreach”….
df - this is nothing but clickbait…if actually considering Trump a viable candidate for POTUS wasn’t enough to give away the 2016 election…nothing else will.

The same can be said of US Population, US News Media, Politicians, etc.
With an Educated Population with Accurate Information………..The Vast Propagandists in US will no longer Thrive.
Experts are almost unanimous in their support of the deal.
Every sane, reasonable democrat can see that scraping the deal will destroy US leadership and credibility in diplomacy for at least a generation.
So it must be only about politics. They know they have to sustain the veto, and are just negotiating among themselves about who they will set “free” to vote no for electoral/political reasons. And Reid is deciding/looking if dems can filibuster a vote of disapproval in the Senate. It would require 41 democrats to do so, hence it will be difficult…
This is driving me nuts. Approving the deal is a no-brainer. In the other countries the matter is already settled. Only in the USA there is drama. With the media completely “polluted” by non-sense and delusions, it is a political challenge to get the approval for an intelligent, essential, internationally negotiated deal !!!!
I wonder how President Obama and VP Biden are able to deal with so much drama and nonsense.
This is what is driving me insane: the slow drip-drip-drip of Dems effing committing to this unprecedented, excellent deal. That is why we have to keep the pressure on, keep retweeting. They are almost begging for an excuse to not go with the deal, and that will be measured in how vocal we are.
Referring back to video of HRC speaking to BLM people….first I felt HRC got it wrong when she said we had to pass legislation first to stop the brutality toward AAs. I thought it takes so long to pass laws and get them enforced. Perhaps the man who suggested we had to change hearts was wiser.
Then I read Nancy LeTourneau’s column http://immasmartypants.blogspot.com/2015/08/on-changing-hearts.html?spref=tw as suggested in the last thread. She posted these words by MLK Jr.
“But after saying that, it is necessary to go on to say that there is another side. It may be true that morality cannot be legislated, but behavior can be regulated. It may be true that the law can’t change the heart, but it can restrain the heartless. It may be true that the law can’t make a man love me, but it can restrain him from lynching me, and I think that’s pretty important also. So while the law may not change the hearts of men, it does change the habits of men if it is vigorously enforced. When you begin to change the habits of people, attitudinal changes begin to take place, and they begin to adjust in an amazing way to things that they never thought they could adjust to, and I’ve seen this over and over again. There is still a need for vigorous legislation, and legislation that’s strongly enforced to deal with many of our social problems.”
Now I know we need both. What are the first steps to helping this to happen?
I saw some of it on line. It was a town hall. I didn’t see nor hear of any pulling of plugs on anyone.
My guess is that the Press these days want her to talk about Nothing, but the E-Mail Server as the GOPers want them to. They want Sanders, VP Biden, Al Gore, etc to help them bring HRC down.
The Press since Pres Carter are more harsher on Dems than on GOPers, period.
Frank Luntz built that……I am so glad they are going at each others throats. All that hate
is coming right back at them and they just might lose the Republican Party for a generation.

When I was working I loved to have time to sit for a few peaceful minutes before facing the carpark that was our highways and byways.

Oh okay - thanks for sharing! Hope things work out for them, and her daughter is found.
Pardon me…..the 17 y.o. is named Chelsea.

NW, I cracked up on this one. By this definition, everyone who is not a Native American would have to leave.

ANSWER TO THE RIDDLE OF THE DAY…FIRST AND LAST…DON’T LIVE IN THE PAST…DON’T LOOK BACK…WE’RE ON THE RIGHT TRACK!

Thanks for the update, Vicki. I have been so busy that I’ve lost track of the count. This is a big help.

I think it’s 23.
23 it is.
Correct 57 — Current announced tally: 23 Dems for it; 2 Dems against
Yes, 23 is correct!
What the hell are they all waiting for?

Menendez has his own personal shit to grind, Sir Bob. Probably looking for some “way” to stay out of jail?
If proven guilty, I hope he spends the remainder of his sorry life in prison, Gazelle.
Yep, agree, Sir Bob! Karma is glaring @ him!

Bobfr, have Sen, Whitehouse and Sen. Jack Reid decided to support the Iran Deal?
Yes, bella, they announced their support today. Scroll up-thread and you’ll see the tweets about their announcement.
Good news, good news, good news!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I expected Menedez to say no, he doesn’t like our President.
See? It does help when we make phone calls to our Congress people.
They do hear us
Thom Tillis is a sorry do nothing right wing hating tea party Republican Senator from North Carolina who want to send our soldiers into another war.
These folk used to be big Tony Blair fans ….
Ballots were mailed on 14 August and all ballots have to be received by 10 Sept., btw.
i suggest every voter fill out ballot and take a pic and save it.
Good suggestion!!
:)
Thanks Bob :)
Is this accurate? I didn’t see the presser.
The Hill is to right wing for me. I just saw a report about Hillary on the evening news and it said nothing about her pulling the plug.

It must have been this……by Ed Henry from Fox…….wanting a Bill O’Rielly’s type crass from the 2008 event at then Sen Obama’s event.
They want an old white stupid President - who would ever know why
For Nena -
Thanks HF…..
That is a wonderful news for Rosie and her daughter. I wish them well.
good. hope she is able to get the help she needs.
