Rep Jared Huffman (D) has been working extensively to gain the release of WaPo journalist Jason Rezaian from Iran. Jason is from the county where Huffman lives, and his family are his constituents. Since the decision is coming down from the Iranian courts any day now, I think once that is settled, then Rep Huffman will focus on the Iran deal.
A group of us from Santa Rosa have a meeting with Congressman Huffman next week, we will urge him to support the deal. Good to know some of the back story on this.

The current cavalcade of losers running for president is worrisome and a bit sickening. Its still very early, and lots can and will happen iām sure, but I canāt help but wonder if the media/news will find a way to sink even lower than imagined after cheerleading us into the Iraqi war, and what I thought was lowest of the low and their ebola scaremongering running up to the 2014 elections.
I think they are literally willing to wallow in a gutter of their own filth (i.e. Trump) in order to get a GOP pres in 2016. #run joe run!
It took a veritable army of Obamabots to stem the tides in 08 and 12, and I just donāt see that happening with either Hillary or Bernie… they just donāt inspire people and we know how dems need that extra push to get out and vote. The unicorn and pony brigade not voting in 2016 is what scares me most.
The Republican Party has no one to blame but themselves for Donald Trump. The Republican Party should have cut off the racists loud mouth Tea Party, but instead they allow these racist people to take over their party. Of course the parents have thrown the pool, the hose and the floaters all away and probably fumigated the backyard.
Our bears out here have been know to return to a place they like - over and over. Even when captured and taken up into the mountains, they come back.

Just arrived in Vegas. Itās 107 here. Had to comment on the bears. We just had one walk down our street two days ago. Itās fall and very dry. They come for food. We just learn how to be aware and stay away from them. Waiting for the rental car so doing a quick read of TOD to find out what is happening.
