Night owl chat - Ladies and gentlemen, Born to Run

I’m one of those odd people who thinks “Born to Run” is the greatest rock album ever made. Better than “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts’ Club Band”. Better than “Exile on Main Street.” Better even than my beloved “The Joshua Tree.” No rock album had the abandon, the joy, the sheer scale of “Born to Run”. So, on the anniversary of its release, the full Monty. Enjoy.

I posted this late in the last thread, but I’m of to bed soon, so I’m gonna post it here too.

I don’t particularly like talking about this story because of how stupid I feel for not evacuating with my other family (Basically my mom refused to leave and I didn’t want to leave her) …and I won’t be talking about it now….but you can check it out. My mom is featured in this story about Katrina survivors and she tells our story…

I actually told my mom that I didn’t want my name mentioned at all, but it was too late by then…so I’m sharing it with a few select blogs and social media places I frequent, mostly as a bit of catharsis…

“Yes, as much as I detest Trump and I’d like to feel sympathy for Ramos, I just can’t quite shake off the memory of his constant and UNNECESSARY attacks on PBO.”

    hopefruit2

Damn right, hopefruit2, Ramos is just the latest example of what’s coming. Ramos and others like him tried to shit on everything President Obama did or try to do. I have no sympathy for what happened to Ramos, how do you like them apples!

p.s. sorry for bringing this to your thread about The Boss, LL, but this Ramos thing got me going.

I’ll have more to say on that tomorrow.

I know, Ramos is problematic. But I don’t think Trump realizes just what he means to the Latino community. And Trump’s treatment of Ramos has larger ramifications. We’re talking straight up brown shirt shit.

I have seen my share of crazy coons run for office world over but the current lot of kkklowns really scares the shit out of me since these numb nutz have the deadly nuclear arms literally at their fingertips.

Yes, we are in the belly of the beast and these kkklowns’ default position is Armageddon, a hard rain is coming.

Is he saying that it’s hard for the media to ignore Trump? I have to stop watching so much news.

With Trump in our midst, BITOA (booze is the only answer). Ha. There’s not enough booze in the world to get this guy out of our heads. So, here’s another idea. (And goodnight, TODville!)
