3:35: Meets with USUN Mission employees and their families, U.S. Mission to the United Nations, New York,

6:0: Delivers remarks at a DNC LGBT Gala, Gotham Hall, New York

Monday

The President will deliver remarks at the Opening Session: 70th Session of the General Assembly and hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India.

In the afternoon, the President will attend a luncheon hosted by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon and host a Peacekeeping Summit.

Afterward, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with President Vladimir Putin of Russia.

In the evening, the President will deliver remarks at a reception for foreign heads of delegations to the United Nations General Assembly. The First Lady will also attend.

The President will chair the Leaders’ Summit on Countering ISIL and Countering Violent Extremism.

In the afternoon, the President and First Lady will return to Washington, DC.
