These Dem Senators are so clueless and patronizing it’s sick. Biden just went through two elections - being on PBO’s ticket…when Sen McCaskill has been in ZERO presidential elections. What makes her think she can give Biden any “advice” on anything?

I believe that there is a major reset being made to wash over We The People…the President’s grass roots campaign was from the ground up…ti was about empowerment…

the DNC and the DEMs want to reset the clock to pre-OBAMA time…

this is what these kind of statements mean to me

Great comment. The whole establishment of the democratic party is behind Hillary Clinton, unfortunately. It’s scary to see how powerful the Clintons have become within the democratic party. You have to give it to Bill and Hillary: they know how to flatter egos, and they play the game of exchanging favors pretty well. I also think that another factor is that democratic politicians know that Bill and Hillary, more often than not, put politics before anything else. Those politicians feel that they won’t be asked to do anything difficult.

In Barack Obama , they have a president who always tries to do the right thing, who ALWAYS puts the country and its citizens before politics. So democratic politicians resent the president for making things more difficult POLITICALLY for them. They want to go back to the old times indeed. So they can not anger their donors, and just talk the talk without walking the walk. Wanna bet that democratic politicians are putting ALL the blame for losing Congress on the shoulders of the president ? ANd are thinking that in 2008 it would have been better to nominate Hillary? Those guys live in a bubble and are incapable of self-reflection. They are the ones who couldn’t defend the democratic, progressive agenda. They left the president alone the minute things became difficult. Cowards.

Sigh… If Joe Biden enters the race at this particular moment, there will be more resentment against him than there was against Barack Obama in 2008. How “outrageous” for him to go against saint Hillary ? Hasn’t she suffered enough in 2008 ?

The fact that she is supposed to be offered the nomination on a platter is MAKING ME NUTS.

Joe Biden is in an impossible situation. He instinctively senses that Hillary is vulnerable in the general election and that he could be a stronger candidate for the democrats with more cross-over appeal. And, of course, there’s the emotional pressure coming from his son’s wishes. So he feels a sense of responsibility to run. And I think he’s pretty irritated at all the critics Sanders and Hillary are making about a president he loves and respects, and an administration that’s done a pretty good job. He would LOVE to defend President Obama on the national stage. He would LOVE to change the narrative that Hillary and Bernie are building: “things are BAD and I have the solution”.

But what can you do when every powerful people in the party doesn’t want you in the race ?

i agree with most of what you have said….i would add…that it is not that they love the Clintons…but that the Clintons preserve the status quo, they preserve the power in the hands of a few …the President preached that the power is in the hands of the People…the citizens…he wanted an engaged electorate…he often says that we abdicate our power by not voting…this is the state of the DEM party in 2015

Because,,,usually it is the Vice-President who is most poised to run…but not in this case…and it does not help that the VP has not yet decided what he plans to do..

Dear Dem Senators, No, Life is rough and if anyone knows that it’s VP Biden. If he can deal with the hand that life has dealt him, he can deal with another election. Thanks for your concern.

Republicans and the Obama administration are at odds over an extra $38 billion in war funding in the bill.

The money would not be subject to congressional budget caps, allowing Republicans to increase spending for the military while keeping the rest of the government under strict limits.

but 21 DEMs…voted with the GOP.

I always find it interesting how DEMS do not vote together on issues like this….this is why we can’t have nice things
