Thank you for asking, Chips. Yesterday, I spent all day lying on my bed with her. She’s not better, exactly, but she seems calmer. I did get a little water into her today. Basically, she is just waiting. As my friend said, she’s not afraid and that makes me calmer too. I still can’t quite wrap my mind around not having her around. I’ll be calling my vet tomorrow to make final decisions. I’m just glad she held on through the weekend without suffering. We’ve had lots of cuddles. I can’t that you and TOD enough for giving me a little space to grieve.

WooooWeeeee, I’m back from viewing the Parade floats and boy am I tired! It was a lovely afternoon to walk the vast area where the floats were stationed with our lovely JoJo. I asked him about the situation there today and he said that most of the protesters were from militia groups from ID, MT, and the Bundy group from CO. He retold the story we have heard, but the part I had not heard was many of the armed protesters were going to the homes of the locals knocking on their doors and intimidating them to try to get them to take their side. Those there are scared and the building occupation will affect their tourism income.
