Yeah. A bout with pneumonia because I didn’t take care of myself after a medical procedure last month and then a bad stomach virus. I’m okay now.

So be honest: was it less stressful being unconnected or were you stressed out because you weren’t connected?
In the beginning it was more stressful but I cheated and used my cell phone to read sometimes until the kids caught on then they gave me the guilt speech about being around to see my grand girls grow up and that did it for me. I think I saw every HGTV show ever made. 😡
It is a time to catch up on binge-watching TV. Pneumonia is nasty, and the weaker you are the stronger the pneumonia is. Good for your kids, taking such good care of you. We missed you, though!

No doubt the prospects of a Trump V Bernie general election is helping the slower americans realize how good we’ve had it the last 8 yrs. I still think the approval numbers are deflated, probably still could add a few points to it.

My thoughts exactly. I have always felt the polls were deflated by 20%. He has been an awesome president and I am proud that I supported him early and forever.

Yes, he does.The media are in the business of selling narratives. The reality is this nomination is about demographics and delegates, about the continuation of the Obama coalition and legacy. It was decided on Mar. 15. Probably the media won’t give up on their “momentum” narrative until Bernie gets swept away on Apr. 19 and 26. Net gains for Bernie in delegates from WI, estimates vary from 6 to 11 in this all white state. Not much for all the hype.
At this point all I hope is that the Republicans will be so messed up that the Dems will stay in the Whitehouse. Otherwise, I am terrified.

The announcement from the Obama administration and the state of California is happening today, on this historic agreement to remove four dams on the Klamath River, bypassing the GOP Congress in order to restore salmon and steelhead runs. This will be warmly greeted by many in the Pacific Northwest, especially the native tribes who live along the river, the Klamaths, Yurok, Hoopa, and other tribes. I grew up on the headwaters of the Klamath, in Klamath Falls, Oregon, and have fished and hiked near these dam sites.
That is sad. He was a big supporter and defender of Pres Obama.

The toddlers, on whom I haven’t reported lately, are all NOW focused on Zika and Ebola funds, almost accusing the WH that they are scaring people with both diseases. They seem to forget that the expectation from them and their corporate right wing masters is that Obama MUST prevent and cure all diseases, even the ones that appear distances away. When he doesn’t, he is accused of being negligent, as he by his own will alone, he can prevent Americans from trotting the globe day in day out. With Zika, the disease is even faster and more easily spread, from sexual contact to being in a Zika infested community. And Americans travel everywhere by my account.
