    Please share this with all your networks and everyone you know who has a Republican MOC

    URGENT - ACA Action Needed TODAY

    Congressional leaders in the House know that ripping away health insurance from millions of Americans is unpopular - you helped show them that last week at town halls. They should be rethinking their whole approach to Obamacare, but instead, the lesson they apparently learned is… to keep their repeal plan a secret.

    This is not a joke, even though it sounds like one. Their bill is being kept in a basement room on Capitol Hill and only a select few are being allowed to read it. The public isn’t able to see how a draft repeal would affect families and communities that depend on the provisions of Obamacare.

    The last time Congress’ nonpartisan analysts looked at repeal they concluded that tens of millions would lose coverage and premiums would go up. No wonder they are ashamed of it. They want to rush this through before folks find out what a disaster it would be.

    We’re asking that wherever possible we spend today and tomorrow working to mobilize our members, partner activist and allies in each of our states and have them start calling Congress and saying, no to a secret plan.

    Ask to speak to your representative at the House switchboard: (202) 224-3121. Make the call now.

      Appointing people like Perry is just a way to destroy the government from the inside. President Bannon has spoken about dismantling the government. It’s obvious what is happening.

        Yes. He said it outright at CPAC last week. Sadly, their supporters won’t even understand that. “Whatever” he was talking about, they wo’t figure it out ad realize it is bad for them; that it affects their everyday life—-util it does! 😦 Then it’s too late. …….for all of us.

        #PresidentBannon isn’t as smart as he thinks he is:

        This Seb Gorka is a real piece of work. His only qualification is that he was some kind of senior editor at Breibart with Bannon. He’s unhinged and dangerous, IMHO.

            Did you read her first piece, Putin, Let’s Play Chess? I’ve always thought HOW Snowdon got his 6-figure gig in Hawaii, with Top Secret Government Government Clearance….. without ever finishing a single college class, and that he contacted Greenwald and Poitras regarding stolen intel, BEFORE his first day at Booz - was the BIG part of the story, not that he leaked stuff…(I mean I *KNOW* that Amazon and Facebook know more about me that I do..) So WHO THE FUCK got him that gig, and WHY?

            Hunting Hillary has been going on for almost 30 years. The GOP are correct to be terrified of her. She’s destroying them even now, from afar…. without lifting a finger, because stupid old white men have never accepted that KARMA IS A GODDESS.

    Isn’t it funny (not funny) how Republicans finally have all the power they could have ever dreamed of… and they are proving once and (hopefully) for all that they are completely corrupt and inept. They had this truly great opportunity to show they actually give a damn about American lives and instead they are brazenly ripping us off every possible way. They could have used their power for good and they just couldn’t bring themselves to do so. They are a weak and wicked bunch of truly selfish humans. Their ideology has corrupted them beyond common decency. I keep thinking about the Congressman in WI ? yesterday who sent out cease and desist letters to his constituents! Don’t they take an oath to represent we the people? Paul Ryan who shuts off his phones. A White House full of liars… and perhaps even Russian operatives?

      I get the feeling they are being given plenty of time to show their true motives, and the more power they think they have, the more brazen the behavior becomes. However hard it feels to wait for justice to be served, best for us to #bevigilantdontbeafraid, and to be strong in our hearts, keep anchoring the Light and Hope, trust in the inherent goodness of human nature. There is more good in the world than there is evil, and good will win out. Evil is rearing its ugly head as it faces its death throes. We are on the cusp of the Ages, it is no coincidence so many millions have resonated to the Age of Obama. We are the first to cross the threshold, tho it is neither quick nor easy. Keep You The Heart ❤️

    That’s the trouble with all these white (haired) privileged men who hang around Trump. None of them cover their tracks, because they feel they can act however they want and be covered by others or buy their way out. Trump’s number one dawg at showing the way. I’m guessing they still don’t think what any of them did should be looked at as wrong, because it got ’em where they wanted to go. Pence is dumber than dirt, but will lie about what he ate for breakfast with an “aw, shucks” attitude. Same as Sessions. Flynn was just crazy, and sometimes crazy trips itself up. Ryan and McConnell hate everyone but themselves. I can’t wait until they all have a group farewell party at Mar-a-Lago. Knowing them, they’ll all apply for unemployment compensation, because we all “owe” them.

      So funny that they allowed himself to get caught in another lie.

      LOD had a segment where he talked about Sessions being a bad lawyer. He basically said that a lawyer would not have allowed his client to use the phrase “I don’t recall” especially when client goes on to describe in detail about less significant, less notable things. That weakens the “I don’t recall” defense.

    I looked at this earlier. It’s about the line of succession within the Justice Department.

    A week before leaving office, Obama authorized Executive Order 13762, “Providing an Order of Succession Within the Department of Justice.” That order inexplicably removed Obama appointee Dana Boente, the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, from the DOJ line of succession.

    Fast-forward to Jan. 30, less than two weeks after Trump took office, when the president dramatically fired Obama holdover Sally Yates as Acting Attorney General after she refused to defend Trump’s controversial (and ultimately futile) immigration ban. As Sessions had yet to be confirmed by the U.S. Senate, Trump was able to elevate whomever he pleased to take Yates’ place.

    Trump asked Boente to serve as Acting AG. The Virginia attorney was officially named Acting Attorney General on Feb. 9, the same day Sessions was sworn into office—and the same day Trump signed the executive order reversing Obama’s line of succession.

    Sessions announced he would recuse himself from any investigation into Russia’s involvement with the 2016 presidential election…Boente will now take over “any election-related investigations.”

    This became significant to me because I wondered about the process by which a special prosecutor would be chosen. While watching Rachel, it was noted that up until 1999, a rule was in place where if the president or a high ranking person were being investigated, a 3-panel group would appoint the prosecutor. Now that the rule has expired, who would be authorized to appoint the special prosecutor? The President? The AG?

    This article also became significant to me when it was pointed out that 45 is putting people in deputy positions that are loyal to him (which explains why his cabinet staff is not being allowed to appoint their own deputies). Does this mean that Boente will appoint the special prosecutor for the Russia investigation? Will he appoint someone who was hand-picked by 45?

        Yes, it does appear that some things were left behind that would force 45 to take deliberate actions to continue his cover up. Those actions would accumulate to show a pattern that could be construed as evidence of involvement/collusion or, at a minimum, knowledge.

    whenever you get a chance, please remember to link the whole republican party to the corruption and democracy-destroying actions that started before the election and continue to this day;

    ;

    the linkage has to be done in such a way that it is so tight that there is no chance for any of those who (through their silence, votes or outright vocal support),collaborated with the homegrown demagogue to escape and plead that they were not part of it;

    Sometimes it seems as if there’s a different mindset between night time media and morning media.

    Overnight, we’ve heard that there was a contradiction as to whether or not Sessions met the Russia ambassador in his capacity as a senator. We also heard that there were other 45 advisors/surrogates who met with Russian liaisons.

    This morning, the media is tripping over themselves coming up with reasons why Sessions’ testimony was not perjury — intent being the main factor; even referencing HRC and emails. Sen. Blumenthal was on MJ this morning and refuse to use the word “lie”. He would not even directly respond to the question of whether or not he trusted that Comey would conduct an impartial investigation.

    First of all, I will never believe that Sessions did not intend to mislead. That country hick dialect and mannerisms is more annoying than seemingly sincere. Sessions has been given a task to obstruct and cover up in his capacity as AG. He will do whatever is necessary to achieve that goal; not to mention, *his* career and lifestyle is at stake. Plus, his profession as a lawyer raises the bar as to his intent.

    Second, Sessions *should* have a major hurdle overcoming the explanation that he met with Russia in his capacity as a senator. If he was at the Republican convention in his capacity as a senator, attending on the taxpayer’s dime, he should not have been as involved in the 45 campaign as he was. If, as has been noted, his appearance at the convention (during which time he met with Russia) was being paid for by the campaign, then obviously he is continuing to lie in an attempt to cover up other lies.

    Third, his tepid recusal doesn’t go far enough — as far as recusals go. He limited it to the campaign. What about the transition — which he led? What about the administration — of which he is a part?

    Beyond that, he *should* resign. I would add serve time in prison, but i have no doubt that 45 would pardon him. or commute the sentence.

    I’m hoping for a deluge of intelligence to come down. Enough with the drips.

      Lots and lots of lying going on here….of course, when the Big Cheese lies about everything…it’s only natural for the others to follow his lead

      But let’s not focus too much on Mr. Sessions. After all, he is joined in the cabinet by Scott Pruitt, the Environmental Protection Agency administrator, who lied to Congress about his use of a private email account; Tom Price, the secretary of health and human services, who lied about a sweetheart deal to purchase stock in a biotechnology company at a discount; and Steven Mnuchin, the Treasury secretary, who falsely told Congress that his financial firm didn’t engage in “robo-signing” of foreclosure documents, seizing homes without proper consideration.

      And they would have served with Michael Flynn as national security adviser, but for the fact that Mr. Flynn was forced out after the press discovered that, like Mr. Sessions, he had lied about contacts with the Russian ambassador.

    The more people, the harder to cover up which is currently his focus.

    So who’s writing the talking points…I would bet the instructions are coming from Russia.
