Mom had chest pains and sky high blood pressure over the weekend, so we took her to the hospital. They did a bunch of tests to rule out a heart issue and kept her for two and a half days. No conclusion as to the cause, but she’s ok now, which is everything. I just took her to get her hair done. Life is good.

LOL! Um, I think she’s satisfied with her “singing career” around the house (and occasionally the car). She’s not much into the spotlight. She’s so cute though. I don’t think she knows I could hear her down the hall. 😄

Oh my goodness. So happy to hear your Mom is home, and I wish her all the best. Please tell her I love her choice of melodies. In fact, I once took my older sister to see the Righteous Brothers, in their prime (hey, we were all “in our prime” back then - ask Mom!). They walked through the venue and around our table and right past us singing Unchained Melody. Ahhh …

Sometimes I wonder why people like condoleezza rice don’t realize that the search for money & power should never be used as a substitute for your reputation. Her firm, with gates, must really want that oil pipeline so badly.
