Just as an aside … I had hospice care in my home for my Mother’s last several days, before she passed away in 2005. The nurses were wonderful and handled everything, and my Mother wanted to be at home “like the old people used to do.” So, I’m glad Aretha Franklin’s at her home, surrounded by her loved ones, too. Hope she’s at peace.
