The president discussed the baked contents of the display case with an employee, saying at one point: “I’ll take all of those,” and pointing to a batch of cinnamon rolls. Then he turned to the crowd in the restaurant behind him and began shaking hands. He signed a copy of an Obama book held by 3-year-old Elliott Adams. “He’s been carrying a book about Obama around since he got here,” said Elliott’s mother, Ash Adams. Obama also took a moment to take photos with restaurant staff.
