A little OT. Does anyone know if Jonathan Capehart is a republican? He always get called on to discuss Trump.
No, not a Republican.
Nah. Lawrence dubbed him his “Trump expert” in a tongue-in-cheek manner because for some reason the donald likes to give Jonathan interviews. Jonathan is definitely not a republican.
I think Jonathan may be Trump’s Stephen Colbert. You know how many RWNJs think Stephen is actually one of them! I think it’s all tongue-in-cheek with Jonathan, but Trump is too stupid to figure that out, because Jonathan mocks him left and right.
Jonathan hasn’t said yet, but he may also be playing the role of one of “the blacks” that Trumps says he has as friends. (Sorry to even mention that - but Trump couldn’t get any more ridiculous if he were trying.)
Decades ago that same statement was made of the Jews. “Why, some of my best friends are Jews!” Jews have had to mostly give up that dubious distinction now that the African American in Chief needs to be brought down to size. I’d like to say that some of my best friends are blacks (and I feel our very best friends comprise the first family), but except for my friends here on the Obama Diary, I’d have to travel down to Ogden to find one in the flesh.
And I’ve lived (and raised apples and flowers) in this godforsaken state for 46 years. It’s been a long drawn out drought.

Not sure many people even care or would notice, but in case some do I want to let people know that I’m planning to stop commenting on blogs altogether in a few days. Just have a lot of things going on the work and home fronts (good stuff, thankfully!), and also want to really focus on activity with the local OFA chapter.
I’ve almost completely cut out MegaMedia “news” sources so will still read here a lot and maybe one or two other blogs, but I’m forbidding myself from commenting. Let’s go out and win back the House and strengthen the Senate this next year, and remember kids, Only you can prevent mankini fires:
