I’m sure everyone has gone to sleep already, but it’s still June 10 on the West Coast, so I have one more favorite picture of Sasha Obama that is from May 14, 2009. This is just the cutest - she was waiting for her father to land on Marine 1, and her face just told a million stories. Enjoy!

Oh - one more on a different topic (I’m pretending to be Jovie tonight…). I found this one when looking up the info on VP Biden’s meeting with the Pope. The President met with 22 media execs on Thursday, and basically challenged them on the fact that people don’t know what improvements have been made in the economy, and sent the message that the media needs to do its job. Bravo! (If this was already reported, then please ignore…) Good night!

Always love pictures of the President and his daughters. The sparkle in their eyes never fails to thrill. A girl with a good father is the most blessed person on earth….I know from experience. In my long years I’ve noticed a number of good father/daughter relationships in the White House.
That Malia and Sasha baby photo is gorgeous. Malia looks just like the young ‘Barry’ pics floating around.
What a team we have in the WH. One is a guest of the Queen, the other of the Pope.

The pictures of the girls show so much love and respect for the gift of life. Look how tnederly Malia is holding Sasha’s little hand. Sweet and moving. I feel that their daddy is trying to hold the tender hands of all of the little ones he and our First Lady take into their’s hands thinking of how they can and will make those little lives better. I just find that one so moving because little sweet Sasha is just lying there so peacefully sleeping while her big sis is reaching out with so much love that we know that she got from mommy and daddy. What a loving family we have been blessed with in our lifetime to enjoy and watch the girls grow up to be wonderful citizens of the world also. Thanks for the post, Chipsticks.
