A gentle and kind embrace. I was listening to this event while at work and I recall the President saying that Sergeant First Class Leroy Arthur Petry had 100 family members at the White House, wow…
I love the look on grandma’s face, it’s so beautiful. That look on her face is how I feel whenever I see him. That man is a thing of beauty. My god did we luck out when we got him for president.
Hear Ye! Hear Ye! He’s just a bundle of damn fine sunshine and rainbows.
So, so, true, UT! President Obama combines superior intellect with tremendous love for humanity.
Pure TLC. Thank you Mr. President.
He has to bend way over to give this little old lady a hug and her grandson and everyone else in the room just lights up with love and delight. What a wonderful moment for all of them.
I wanna hug too.
That was a very moving ceremony. To think that amazing heroes like Sgt. Petry sacrifice so much so that these clowns in Congress can pull unpatriotic stunts day after day just makes my blood boil.
My heart fills will gratitude when we see these wonderful men and women give us ALL that they have for all of us to enjoy a daily life of safety. Then we watch all of the clownish acts of these arrogrant people in Congress parading around like they own this world and all of its contents. But here are the decent, commited brave, and courageous men and women of the nation. We give you thanks Sgt. Petry for your brave and unselfish service. We give your family especially you precious grandmother giving us this opportunity of sharing in this moving acknowledgment of your wonderful grandson’s bravery. And thank you, Mr. President, our CIC for your loving and compassionate dedication to do the right and decent thing for the families of these brave men and women. May God bless you and our servicemen and women all over the world. And let us all let freedom ring with our hardwork of supporting this wonderful President, Barack Obama as he serves as these servicemen and women’s CIC. We salute you also, Mr. President. Thank you.
Everytime I see something like this, its like this is the theme song.
This was indeed a very moving ceremony.
I love to see the President in ceremonies like this. He is just so compassionate and humble.
On another note I stumbled upon this clip and I was thinking that it’s been awhile since I saw these two together.
I’m sorry but I just love to see them together.
Thanks for this reminder video. I love the fact that they tease each other and are so in tune emotionally and physically. Oh to have a PBO or MO in our lives as a partner. One can only wish. Until then Viva la Obamas!
I agree, I love seeing POTUS and FLOTUS together also.
This is one of the beautiful and lovely things I love about them together. They are real in their affection and teasing with each other. They seem to enjoy being in each other’s company and space. We need to keep them for our spaces with them, and that is one reason why we must work hard to re-elect President Obama again for his second term. I have not see this in the WH in years. I am not being disrespectful of other Presidents, it is that President Obama and First Lady, Michelle Obama are not afraid to show us this side of them. I really think that it is so wonderful for all of world to see. Such a love that you seldom see. I love it.
Hwy you guys! I just had to comment……Mr. Cool Breeze is what Our President is. A humble man, It’s my responsibility, too. It really makes my heart happy to know that he is really working for us, inspite of the naysayers and haters. Thank God for Our First Lady. The love and respect they openly display makes it all worth while. Because at tne end of the day……they have each other. Thank you Stevie Wonder for help making this couple happen! We are forever grateful.
