I thought Meghan looked different too. She used to be on MSNBC before Abbey Huntsman. Do not know if Abbey replaced Meghan to give the Republican view or not. Wonder why a child of a politician qualifies as a political expert.

I’m always missing the new thread - so here was my post - related to these “awards”

hahahahahahaha – politico and CNN – that wipes out any pretense of impartiality – hope Pierce has a comment

Are we ever going to finish with the self indulgence - these idiots think they are the news - blah blah blah

Correspondents have clear vision? Oh please!

  10. 22 sherijr
    May 3, 2025 at 9:49 pm

Yeah I think our current whpc is totally bought and paid for by the gop. They can pretend they’re still clear eyed truth tellers.. but that’s not how it looks from here.

  11. 23 CEB
    May 3, 2025 at 9:49 pm

I find all of this self-praise rather unseemly. The real journalism is not being practiced by the whpc.

“access” which is hilarious in this day and age.. because the whitehouse.gov site gives us better access as citizens than the whpc ever gives us.

Just seeing that picture of Crispy reinforces what I wrote at the end of the last thread…….most of these men need good tailors to help them. PBO and AGHolder are not only the two best looking men at this dinner, but also, they have the best tailors and the best fit. A decent tailor would tell Crispy NO, that shirt isn’t right, the tie is too small, your jacket doesn’t fit right…..for heaven’s sakes, we can fit you better!

PBO and AGHolder don’t need help from a tailor, but their superb tailoring sets them apart and way above the rest of the males. All tuxedos are not created equal!

“All tuxedos are not created equal!”

Just one more reason the slack jawed losers are freaking out, Amk.

Think about that frumpy old sackinasuit mccain. An insult to quality tuxedos everywhere.

White House wants to “control” the message because journalists are only looking for drama, controversy. They rarely report on substance. They don’t INFORM people on policy. They create narratives and just pick facts or distort them in order to fit their narratives. And then they WHINE when the White House is trying to control the message? Heck, the White House has no choice if they want to RECENTER the conversation on WHAT’S IMPORTANT!!!
