I really think that for the remaining time of PBO’s presence in the WH the WHCD should not bother to invite a comedian to speak after him.

I thought most of Joel McHale’s routine was in poor taste. It is like he went too far on most everything. I liked Seth and Colbert’s presentations better. I know a lot of you liked Wanda, but I thought she went too far too. Guess my 68 years shows. The writers for PBO did a better job.
AND…..he does this, and also pretty well runs the world…….visiting Asia, signing treaties, returning valuable artifacts, consulting with Merkel, corralling Putin, sanctioning Russia, bringing home the ACA, comforting mudslide victims, chastising Gov. Fallin, (I love that!) and so much more we’ll never know about until he writes his books.
All the other guys have to do is get some hacks to copy and paste a routine…….
Of course, I should admit that I’ve never been a fan of stand-up comedy so they fight an uphill battle trying to reach me. Following PBO makes it that much harder!
I do believe for the next two dinners he’s in the WH they should scrap the comedian and let PBO be the final act. It’s anti-climatic to have these poor sobs struggling to be funny right after viewers/guests have been laughing heartily.
Also, I’m not sure whether you guys have paid attention to the fact that PBO’s jokes are couched in actual facts (year after year).
II clicked off at the Khardashian joke. Didn’t like the Christie fat jokes either. Those are cruel, and Christie has provided so much more material. The President ended the show. I loved that classy Sibelius thing.

I didn’t think he was as terrible as some others thought - some of his jokes were a bit crude and low blow, but all in all, he held his own, I thought. It’s just that PBO has a very unique delivery style that gives him an edge above others.
I loved when he apologized using the same words Christie used in all his press conferences. Reminded me of what’s her name echoing Palin on Saturday Night Live. Brilliant
Well POTUS was beautiful as expected.. he just never ever fails.. truly my favorite comedian. The other guy had a few good moments, stuck it to fox, msnbc, cnn and Christy.. although I also don’t appreciate fat jokes.. nor did I like his Biden stuff.. or the end when he ‘joked’ that the important things were no better in this country. I give him credit for plowing along without shame ;) . Thus far no one holds a candle to President Obama. they are so going to miss him when he’s gone.
