Oh but CNN released some poll yesterday which said Hillary out poll Obama on every issue, including foreign policy and healthcare. Shows you how bogus that poll was. Hillary who supported the invasion of Iraq, who tried to pass healthcare,but failed.

If Hillary becomes president, her poll numbers will go down too. Although, I have to say, I’ve grown pretty cynical about how the media covers presidents. (It took them a LONG time before turning on Bush 43, and it was only after a series of very bad and inefficient governing.)

THIS! I heard Conan include this in his monologue last night and it totally depressed me until this A.M. when I opened TOD and saw all of the good news.
First, this President has cleaned up the messes of both GWB AND Bill Clinton (DADT, DOMA, repeal of Glass-Steagall, etc…). He has been better on Foreign Policy, National Security, Diplomacy, the Economy, civil rights, food justice, environment… the list goes on… AND got Healthcare done when no other President could.
If he was white they would already be carving him into Mt. Rushmore.
Also, I get why conservatives don’t like how successful he is because, even if he does stuff they like, it makes their brand look inefficient. However, the fact that every liberal in the world (including the far left) is not singing this man’s praises can ONLY be because he is brilliant while black!!

When I was first learning about Barack Obama prior to his 2008 run for President, I read his books Audacity of Hope and Dreams from my Father. This all happened after I saw him on Oprah on his Audacity book tour. I was so impressed with what he said and his obvious intelligence and sincerity that I looked up his legislative records in IL and in the US Senate besides reading his books. I came away only more impressed. When I compared his legislative accomplishments to Hillary’s I was floored at the extensive list of authored and coauthored significant legislation in his column as compared with the short list of expected Jr Senator post office namings and team celebration type action Hillary’s list contained. She worked hard, but did what was expected of her. He continues that trait into his Presidency. Quietly and tirelessly working away to get done what he set out to get done even faced with incredible opposition.
That was beautiful to read, and I thank you so much for sharing it! Plus I agree with every beautiful word!
