The members of the Wee Winkie Club, also known as Open Carry Texas, are a group of unfortunate looking men who parade around – legally in Texas – with long guns. Oddly, you do not have to have a permit to carry a long gun. You can be crazy as a brickbat and still be allowed to walk around with a shotgun or a semi-automatic weapon.
That just doesn’t seem right.
So when Open Carry Texas did one of their many open-carry events, where they parade around admiring each other’s “weapons” and attempt to scare crap out of passing cars, they were met with middle aged almost-bare-naked ladies.

It is legal to go topless in Austin, Texas, which doesn’t seem right either but does lead to far more fun than guns. [....]

Yes Chips PLEASE! because I have to stay away from my beloved TOD site because I can’t handle the endless stream of the same - morning, noon, night. It is causing me stress that is affecting my health and that “ain’t” good.
I know GGail, it’s depressing, but I honestly can’t think about any other issue at the moment, like others here. What’s happening in Gaza is among the most horrific stories of my lifetime, impossible to ignore.
What I’m seeing is Information Overload and I know how much I can handle. I would love for the bombing and killing to cease in Gaza and in the Ukraine, I am unable to read about it 24/7.
I understand, the flood of reports and images from Gaza is overwhelming, but I just keep thinking about what it must be like to live under that threat 24/7.
I am grateful for not having to live through it, but all I can do is put my trust in my President and his Administration. Discussing it ad nauseum is not good for me. I need a healthy balance. I’ve not gone far, I’m just a lurk away :-) <3

Nena, Kerry is a decent, honest, hardworking and brilliant man who never gets adequate credit for what he achieves because he doesn’t play stupid games and he doesn’t spend his time looking for ways to score points with media.
