Hello TODers, I could use some of your awesome and powerful prayers for a dear friend of mine right now.
My friend is undergoing surgery for a subdural hematoma (blood trapped in the skull, putting pressure on the brain) at this moment. His wife is very worried. The hope is that they can drill a small hole in his skull and drain the blood easily, avoiding a full crainiotomy (where they remove a big part of the skull). Sorry to be so graphic. He was riding his bike a few weeks ago and was clipped by a car and hit his head. The subdural hematoma was probably due to a small injury they didn’t catch then, exacerbated because he takes blood thinners.
Please surround Bob and Bonnie with healing light and prayers for an easy and successful surgery. I know you don’t know them, but even a moment of your positive thought energy would help, I’m sure! Thanks TOD!

OWN Presents ‘Legends: OWN at the Apollo’ to Air as 4-Part Primetime Special

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today it will air the star-studded primetime television event “Legends: OWN at the Apollo” beginning Saturday, October 24 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
Filmed at the world famous Apollo Theater, the four-part primetime special will feature musical performances and intimate reflections by some of the biggest artists in music history, including seven-time Grammy Award-winner Gladys Knight; Grammy Living Legend Recipient and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Smokey Robinson; Grammy Award-winning and Billboard powerhouse The Isley Brothers; and eight-time Grammy Award-winning and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame recipients Earth, Wind & Fire.

Vanessa Williams will join the critically acclaimed drama “The Good Wife” in a recurring role this November. Williams will play Courtney Boalt, an extremely successful, self-made businesswoman who is potentially interested in backing Peter Florrick’s (Chris Noth) campaign for President. In the process, she meets Eli Gold (Alan Cumming), sparking a mutual attraction.
“There are very few names you can put side-by-side that make you laugh,” said Executive Producers Robert and Michelle King. “Alan Cumming and Vanessa Williams are at the top of that list. We couldn’t be more excited.”
“The Good Wife” returns for its seventh season Sunday, Oct. 4 (9-10 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network
