I could sure use a good dose of good thoughts from my TOD family. My beloved yorkie, Pearl, is sick and it may be cancer or inflamed intestines. She’s at least 12 years old, she’s not eating, she’s half her weight. I’d do the expensive and somewhat dangerous endoscopy to nail things down, except…..
Mr. 57 was rear-ended on Tuesday and the car is probably totaled. It’s an old car, but it was the car we were going to keep, since the stick shift tin can is difficult to drive with Mr. 57’s no-cartillage knees and my severely arthritic shoulder. We were planning to work hard, save our pennies and buy a new car at the end of the year and give away the tin can. Now, everything is up for grabs.
And between the exorbitant vet bills and the car issue, I may have to work yet another full year for the sociopath without cutting back on hours.

I have no real words of wisdom - I do know how much your yorkie means to you - tis not easy to see her suffer if you think there is a chance to help her. I do remember having to face financial reality years ago when I had to tell the vet - we have no more money to give you.
Given your comments from time to time about your boss - I’m rather glad the odds are zero to none that I shall ever come across him. And the car - I have about forgotten how to drive a stick shift - used to always say “real cars have a gear stick” until I discovered the joy of the auto. Do home Mr 57 suffered minimal harm in the accident.
The goods news - Trump is going to lose big - his loss will be yooooge - which doesn’t help your current decisions - but will be a massive help to the US.
So sorry 57. Your Yorkie is precious to you, and these decisions are difficult. Hope something good breaks for you soon. You are in all of our prayers and thoughts. Seems like things never come singly, but just all dump on us at the same time. We’re with you.
