    http://time.com/3962799/donald-trump-hillary-clinton/

Republican presidential candidate and reality television star Donald Trump has been deeply critical of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as he has embarked on his campaign, but it wasn’t always so.

The real estate magnate has a long history of delivering admiring comments about the woman he now calls the “worst Secretary of State in the history of the United States,” and a “desperate” and “sad” candidate.

When Clinton last ran for office, Trump was torn between supporting her and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. ” They’re both terrific people, and I hope they both get the nomination,” he told CNN in 2007, adding that he thought Clinton would surround herself with good people to negotiate a deal with Iran. A year later, Trump wondered publicly why Clinton wasn’t chosen as President Obama’s running-mate.

In 2012, as Obama was running for re-election, Trump called Clinton “terrific” again in an interview with Fox News, saying she performed well as Secretary of State.

“Hillary Clinton I think is a terrific woman,” he told Greta Van Susteren. “I am biased because I have known her for years. I live in New York. She lives in New York. I really like her and her husband both a lot. I think she really works hard. And I think, again, she’s given an agenda, it is not all of her, but I think she really works hard and I think she does a good job. I like her.

    And this:)

If Dem people helping with campaign were smart, and I think they are, they would sow seeds of doubt about DT to his tepid followers….making them question whether he really IS the person he says he is, whether he really WOULD/COULD do what he says he would….create nagging doubts about him that gets harder and harder to ignore or pass off….. like this Lucifer tweet…… In other words, make trust an issue.

Seriously….. a good friend of mine who works in TheBiz™, had someone from Fox (i think), tell him that Trump’s campaign began as a bet with Roger Ailes that he couldn’t get very far if he ran. Sadly, due to the Klown Kar being so full of Human Bags of Dicks, it was hard to weed out the poison and still have anyone sane left. However, now, due to Trump’s monsterous narcissistic personality disorder ego, he’s spun entirely out of control. Now, Ailes is about to crash and burn big time thanks to his out of control penis.

And the entire Republican Party has no idea that Ailes will either take Trump down with him, unless he thinks Trump can win (doubtful), and can give him a pardon (for being a giant perv.)

Pyramid scheme…. More praise for people that take others $$ under false pretenses…that’s what DT rewards.

    http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/michelle-van-etten-youngevity-gop-convention-speaker

Michelle Van Etten, billed by Republican National Convention organizers as a small business success story, hawks “pseudoscience” nutrition supplements for a company with a “pyramid scheme” type marketing strategy, according to reporting from the Daily Beast.

Van Etten, who is scheduled to speak on Wednesday night, is described on the RNC’s site as running “an international multi-million dollar network marketing business” that boasts 100,000 customers and distributors.

The RNC schedule doesn’t name Van Ettern’s business, but she is an independent contract employee with Youngevity, a company that sells thousands of products that claim to boost overall health and wellbeing. The company also makes far more dubious claims, like that its products combat cancer, rebuild bone mass and help with weight loss.

On Youngevity’s website, Van Etten is listed as a “senior vice chairman marketing director,” a position also promoted on her Facebook page.

Janet Helm, a registered dietician, told the Daily Beast, “The whole basis of the products and the claims are pseudoscience” and said the overly broad medical claims are “potentially dangerous.”

      Thanks, Dudette.

I watched it and I, too, was pleased. However, Mr. Steele has adopted a sane attitude as soon as he left his GOP post. I remember vividly that when he was in Reince Priebus’s shoes, he used to have a tone that was more inflammatory and used to say derogatory things about Democrats and even about POTUS. He became moderate when he was hired by MSNBC, which led me to doubt whether he would be “that” sane if he had been hired by Faux News, the land of the lies.

Again, he said that he has to observe The Donald between tomorrow (in his acceptance speech) and November 8 before deciding whether he will vote for his party’s nominee. Because that declaration was done with calm and poise, one will give him credit. Hell no! If he can still consider voting for DT after this man’s behavior and derogatory comments throughout the primaries, he is simply an opportunist. He is waiting to catch in if ever Il Douche wins in November.

On that level, I give more credits to the Bushes who stood by their words and don’t even want to be in Cleveland with the Clown and Racist show.

I really got a good chuckle (read snort) from Betty Cracker over at BJ when she said this…

” I’ve come to dislike Trump’s adult children almost as much as I abhor their despicable father. I realize it isn’t their fault that they are trophy-wife crotch-fruit sired by a narcissistic con man. And as the daughter of a gentleman with appalling political views, I do understand keeping filial affection and partisan affinity separate. But the Trumplings are actively trying to foist their buffoonish oaf of a father off on the rest of us, so fuck them.”

I thought that was spot on:)

    http://www.masslive.com/politics/index.ssf/2016/07/ag_maura_healey_bans_sale_of_c.html

BOSTON — Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey announced Wednesday that she will enforce a ban on the sale of what she called “copycat” assault-style weapons, effective immediately.

“Gun manufacturers have manufactured these weapons as legal versions of prohibited guns,” Healey said. “These weapons are illegal. They are copies or duplicates of banned weapons, and they cannot be bought or sold in Massachusetts.”

“The gun industry doesn’t get to decide what’s compliant (with state law),” Healey said. “We do.”

So now the right wing is running around talking about VP Biden, President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama is guilty of plagiarism. FLOTUS suppose to have used something from Saul Alinsky. POTUS the ex Mass Governor. Have you guys heard about that.?

    • 86 CBO
      July 20, 2025 at 3:52 pm

      It’s nonsense.
VP Biden admitted that he had plagiarized that part of the speech and it cost him his presidential run in ’88.

As for president Obama, it WASN’T plagiarism for the simple fact that the President was using the same speech-writer who had worked for Deval Patrick and he (the speech-writer) used stuff he had used in that speech. One can’t plagiarize one’s self.

And the one about Michelle Obama is pure BS, since the section of her speech they claim was plagiarized can only be loosely connected to Alinsky (like, if you REEEALLLY reach)

      • 87 bella2758
        July 20, 2025 at 4:30 pm

CBO I told them it was alot of B.S. VP Biden admitted his error, and I told them as much as they try they can’t save Melania from stealing Michelle Obama’s speech. So stop with their lies.

    • 88 Obama Grandmama
      July 20, 2025 at 6:47 pm

Actually, I remember the Obama speech about words that was the same theme Deval Patrick used. It was not a word for word deal like Melania’s, but was a theme with some similar wording. Obama actually apologized for it immediately and said he should have sited Patrick. Patrick said they were on the same team or some such wording letting it go. There are actually degrees of plagiarism and the old both sides do it is being applied by the GOP again.
