Doing a quick drop-by, back much later. Is this for real, could it actually happen?
Hillary Clinton’s campaign is being urged by a number of top computer scientists to call for a recount of vote totals in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, according to a source with knowledge of the request.
The computer scientists believe they have found evidence that vote totals in the three states could have been manipulated or hacked and presented their findings to top Clinton aides on a call last Thursday.

these reports have been out there for a couple of days but dominated Twitter yesterday. It may be awkward for HRC to demand an audit this late. It may be better if individuals do it.

I think that in our shocked state, HRC’s supporters lost our focus & time to get credible evidence immediately following the vote. Multiple times i have commented here that something didn’t seem convincing about the election results. I commented here that we needed to remember that: -prior to the election, the US gov’t told everyone that Russian hackers had broken into the election
the election systems. During the vote, exit polls were taken that later were inconsistent with the vote tally. I have said that the thousands of ballots that had no records of choice for POTUS were suspicious & too many of what i call the “disappeared potus vote”. Collectively, these & other anomalies require extra scrutiny. Without an independent scientific analysis, suspicious activity will forever taint these elections
Good morning Ms. Chips, Danny and TOD family, I hope all is well with everyone this lovely Wednesday morning. Congrats df, on being first this morning.
Nerdy, thanks so much for helping Ms. Chips and the sacrifices you are making for us TOD’ers. 💫🙏👌👊❤
To all, I hope that your adaptability, discernment, and savoir-faire qualities are fully recognized today. ❤ ❤ ❤
Notwithstanding the nightmare of #BuffoonTrump in the Whitehouse, I am more than ever, Thank God that President Obama is still the President of The United States of America. ⭐🏆 ⭐🏆 ⭐🏆
Two extra things: - if the gop candidate was in HRC’s position, the whole party , with the assistance of ALL the media, would be demanding a recount. - the WH press corp will be drilling Josh about the #auditthevote & trying to create a situation where his words put a stop to this people’s demand
This confirms my suspicion that the US government would hide/minimize hacking of elections to save face: https://t.co/JEPPXgRx1b pic.twitter.com/xrzT06PZUh

8-year-old hospitalized after beating by white bullies who told his sister ‘go back to the cotton farm’
An 8-year-old African American boy was hospitalized after bullies attacked him and his younger sister on November 14, the Atlanta Black Star reports. The incident occurred at the Spanish Lake Primary School in Geismar, Louisiana. Now, the family is seeking help with medical expenses.
Jordan Jackson was defending his 4-year-old sister from a group of older children — all of whom were white, and one of whom was 13 — who were throwing mulch at them. The two Jacksons appear to be victims of a racially-motivated attack.
When Jordan asked the kids to stop, one of the kids told him, “You need to go back to the cotton farm.” He was then pushed to the ground and body slammed.
Jordan was hospitalized with a broken arm and a concussion that later led to “post-concussion syndrome,” which includes symptoms such as dizziness, headaches, and insomnia, among others.
Good day TODobots; bringing over an article Desertflower shared on the previous post. Apparently the deadline to ask for a recount is around the corner. This excerpt below is from the article which was written by professor J. Alex Halderman** himself.
………………………………………….
/ …….
There’s just one problem, and it might come as a surprise even to many security experts: no state is planning to actually check the paper in a way that would reliably detect that the computer-based outcome was wrong. About half the states have no laws that require a manual examination of paper ballots, and most other states perform only superficial spot checks. If nobody looks at the paper, it might as well not be there. A clever attacker would exploit this.
There’s still one way that some of this year’s paper ballots could be examined. In many states, candidates can petition for a recount. The candidate needs to pay the cost, which can run into millions of dollars. The deadlines for filing recount petitions are soon — for example, this Friday in Wisconsin (margin 0.7%), Monday in Pennsylvania (margin 1.2%), and the following Wednesday in Michigan (margin 0.3%).
Examining the physical evidence in these states — even if it finds nothing amiss — will help allay doubt and give voters justified confidence that the results are accurate. It will also set a precedent for routinely examining paper ballots, which will provide an important deterrent against cyberattacks on future elections. Recounting the ballots now can only lead to strengthened electoral integrity, but the window for candidates to act is closing fast.
Much more needs to be done to secure America’s elections, and important new safeguards could be put in place by 2018. States still using paperless voting machines should replace them with optical scan systems, and all states should update their audit and recount procedures. There are fast and inexpensive ways to verify (or correct) computer voting results using a risk-limiting audit, a statistical method that involves manually inspecting randomly selected paper ballots. Officials need to begin preparing soon to make sure all of these improvements are ready before the next big election.

This important information/assessment is surely worth tweeting out repeatedly (Friday is rapidly approaching) in hopes that citizens in the applicable states can respond quickly. It would be a shame if voters willing to do something about their uneasiness this election discovered this option after the relevant deadlines! The candidate may be asked to pay the cost for the recount, but I’d wager that many citizens wouldn’t balk at helping to defray said cost under the current circumstances. That would be really meaningful fundraising, I think!
Examining the physical evidence … will help allay doubt & give voters justified confidence results are accurate. https://t.co/kzKKlZrcP9
Thank *you*. I read the article and was struck by the fact that action in these states needs to be taken promptly in order to be before the deadline. Lord knows it would be a relief to many if this auditing was done expeditiously, whatever the outcome!
Trump’s Son Held Talks on Russia
November 23, 2025
Donald Trump’s eldest son, emerging as a potential envoy for the president-elect, held private discussions with diplomats, businessmen and politicians in Paris last month that focused in part on finding a way to cooperate with Russia to end the war in Syria,” the Wall Street Journal reports.
The disclosure of a meeting between the younger Mr. Trump and pro-Russia figures—even if not Russian government officials—poses new questions about contacts between the president-elect, his family and foreign powers. It is also likely to heighten focus on the elder Mr. Trump’s stated desire to cooperate with the Kremlin once in office.
🙂 This seriously doesn’t sound much different than my Italian Thanksgiving dinners with my family and all the cousins:) Only the names are different:) Hilarious.
Thanks to all of you for your birthday wishes today. I so appreciate you.
Interesting to see the facts coming out about the election. My “gut” has not been satisfied with the outcome since Wednesday….as was said in Hamlet, “Something is rotten in the state of Denmark (USA)” I have said we are on an electoral volcano, and I think that. I made my call to the Justice Department, and am sure others here have too. This has to be investigated, or our elections will not have any meaning or sanctity in the future. Donald Trump is NOT our new, duly elected president…..of that I feel certain.
{{{carolyn}}} Hope that you enjoy your birthday:) By chance, do you have the # for the DOJ that you called? Having trouble getting through on the one I call (202-353-1555) Would appreciate an alternate number:)
Would they “erase” this debt if shitgibbon did something FAVORABLE?? How about walk away from TPP and let them fill the vacuum? Or something else…Who the hell thought that this idiot, rewriting the rules to suit himself, was ok??

DEMAND an audit and recount! We are the ones we’ve been waiting for! Must be done TODAY!

The citizens of this country need to do this. She will not.
She should not. It is up to us.
Of course! Didn’t mean to imply otherwise.
If she fights for this and it fails, she will have suffered doubly. I don’t blame her for standing back. She is trying to heal.
