Excellent post, Chips. Well-done.
And that was all in just one day.
A cracking closer.
Truly an exceptional thread, Chips!!!!
Hey you, stop making me blush!
NEVAH!!!! :D
Fantastic thread Chips. My goodness…..all in one day we get this range of characteristics and emotion all engendered by one man. Wow. We fight for a worthy cause indeed.
Thank you amk, you finally woke up then?
Yup. Came back late y’day night after visiting my aunt, who is recovering nicely.
Some fancy footwork here. You ran with it.
How’s your Aunt doing amk?
She is doing fine, Chips. I was talking with her for about half-an-hour y’day when the nurse came in and told me to beat it with a reproachful look on her face. She should be out of the hospital next week. Thanks for asking.
Great to hear amk, it’s hard being complimentary to you - you know I’m way more comfy slagging you - but you sound like an exceptionally fine nephew. Hats off to ya.
I’m more comfortable with your slagging. :)
Yeah, me too, turtle face.
Turtles are gentle beautiful things.
Oh yeah?
You made my day….AGAIN. must ad to Twitter #whatthepunditswonttellyou
This is awesome Chips!! Thank You!! :D
Chips this is an absolutely awesome thread. I love the photos and what each stand for.
You’re a bit awesome yerself young COS ;-)

Perhaps President Obama’s traveling buddies will share a tweet or two with him …. ;)
Chips - This is a magnificent post. Let’s tweet the hell out of it! Ohmigod!
As you request, Jacqueline …
What took you so long, Bobfr? Ha! GREAT!
Jacqueline, you’re waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too kind ;-)
Uh … not really! :)
Imagine….Mittens doing this. Even that fake July 4th parade march was pathetic.
that parade was hilarious!!!!! All those people walking with him were his biggest supporters—- his son’s, their wives and their progeny. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!
That is so awesome! You are the best Chips!!!!!! Thanks for all you and all of TODville do!
Evening all! Loving the number of threads I have missed! What? {{{{{{{{{{Chips}}}}}}}}}}.
That was so nice!!!
Anybody wanna bet that some of Mitt business practices could border on criminal/felonious?
ABSOLUTELY Yardarm756!!!!
That’s a 10K bet I’d take …. :)
And, yes, I’m continuing to wonder …
I’ll bet a fat man trying to get on his feet in a wind tunnel that Robme is dirty!
This is what kept him away from Romney…Happy Reading! McCain Opposition File on Romney…some stuff in HERE!
He practically told us they were. He said he does not want to release them because it might hurt him in the election. WTF is in those taxes?
Quiet as it’s kept, I can see him getting bumped at the convention and the Pillsbury Doughboy trotted out.
And the crowd goes wild! Pundits salivating at what a game changer this is and Pres.Obama is dooooommmeed.
Yardarm, all I’m sayin’ is John McCain looked at Myth R-money and picked Moose Mama Word Salad!!
Moose Mama Word Salad! :-D :-D :-D
Good evening all , have not posted in a while but I am here every day. Had to post tonight in response to this awesome thread. Chipsticks has outdone herself. Please you must re-elect President Obama.
Lovely to see you Joy, I hope all’s good with you?
All is well. Hope all is well with you too. As I said, here every day. My daughter says I am a stalker. Keep up the good work and have a good evening Chips.
Good to hear Joy, stalkerdom is good! Really lovely to hear from you.
Tears, for the second time today. You’re brilliant, my Chip.
Stop that right now! Love ya.
just want to say hello to you, bwd ;-)
Chips,
You’ve outdone yourself today. So inspirational. The photo of the Sandusky girl and boy is iconic; brings to mind a Scout and Jem for the 21st century.
Longtime lurker here, don’t always have the time to read TOD comments. Tried posting here only once before.
I noticed that some commenters today asked about Romney’s $100 million haul for June. Here’s @Austan_Goolsbee’s response
both donors gave? @PeteSeat @mikeallen @MittRomney campaign obliterates fundraising goals, raises over $100m in JUNE, best month so far
12:43 PM - 5 Jul 12 via Twitter for iPhone
:
LOL.Nice retort from goolsbee. Bet it was all mitt’s millionaire minions.
lol good one…2 donors is about right
Exceptional thread Chips, thanks! You are so awesome!
Such an awesome MAN. but you ALL KNOW THAT! One of these TOD DAYS we should play “What Was Your Moment?” Mine was the speech after the loss in the Pennsylvania primary in ’08. I was starting to be impressed, but I was JUST BLOWN AWAY when I heard that amazing sppech. The hair stood up on the back of my neck: Yes. Yes. That’s right. Why hasn’t a politician spoke this way before? Yes. YES. YES! YEAH!!! I probably came to my moment late. Before that moment I was an Edwards supporter. I KNOW - - OMG. But, edwards did strike the right themes and the right priorities. SEEMS LIKE SUCH A LONG TIME AGO NOW.
“What was your moment?”
I had read about this strangely named guy delivering the 2004 dem convention speech in Indian newspapers in 2007 (yes, he was making waves even across the oceans even then). Then one day, I was watching the leno show and this skinny guy turns up as a guest. His sense of humor was the one that impressed me. That was the moment I started googling him and got hooked up on this damned blogging curse.
Ah, love that Amk! I was a Clintonite in the early days, largely because of what the Bill man did for Ireland (me: parochial), but then I started listening to this guy with the funny name and….. that was that. A love thing.
You a clintonite ? Shocking!!!
Cough. Splutter. Choke. etc. WAS.
The Clintons can be a mixed bag and DAMN HIM for throwing it away for bjs. BUT. Look Around. LOOK AROUND. They are great American Leaders. (Yep, they have pissed me off on many occasions!)
“DAMN HIM for throwing it away for bjs”
Well, yeah! :-)
But being woefully parochial about it, the man played a majorly massive role in Irish people not killing each other any more. I’ll always love him for that, it’s one helluva legacy. And I have a feeling PBO will have the same impact on Israel/Palestinian relations in his second term.
I still love the Clintons .. Bill and Hillary, but my moment was during that 2004 speech. I listened, rapt, to someone speaking as no one I had heard with the same combination of elocution and passion since maybe JFK and I said to my son “we may be watching the President of the United States at some point.” We both felt and reflected on the fact that it might be a long time if ever that a black man would be elected President. OMG: to work toward it as a possiblilty (the campaign of 2008); to feel the emotions, to be wonderously thinking … this could happen … and it did!
His concession speech after losing the primary in New Hampshire to Senator Hillary Clinton. That was it for me! Could not get “yes we can” out of my head!
I had many, many countless “moments” from 2004-on. I supported him wholeheartedly (I was living in Illinois at the time), and I started donating early in 2008. But, I would say my biggest “moment” was after the 2008 conventions-Barack Obama’s speech and Sarah Palin’s speech. That was the first time I actually walked into a campaign office (in northwest Indiana) and starting donating my actual time. I’ve been “fully-involved” since then (as much as my time and resources will allow). By the way, we won Indiana that year-in 2008 (first time in many decades). And, I was so proud, hoping that my small contribution made a little bit of difference-it was a close one.
Was impressed for quite some time, but when he delivered this speech on 18 March 2025 I knew that for only the second time in my life I knew I would do whatever I could to support him (the only other person seeking the Presidency who elicited that level of commitment from me was RFKJr in 1968):
#FORWARD
This is my favorite speech….for many reasons….one is that it took courage…he was advised against giving this speech….
That was one of my biggest “moments” as well Bobfr-for many reasons. And thanks for posting that wonderful epic speech once again. I thought about going with that one, but I was already fully in his corner and supporting him then-that speech just elevated it to a whole ‘notha level for me. But, I chose the moment after those convention speeches because that’s what actually propelled me to start volunteering for a campaign-for the first time in my life.
I was so sickened by all those horrible years of Bush, I really had hopes the Dems would have a suitable candidate. I started hearing more and more about PBO and I’d seen an interview with him on Charlie Rose. I found out he was coming to town and me and my friends went to see him. It was October 2007 and the venue was not at full capacity. His speech was just riveting and I was completely moved. We walked up to him after and shook hands and chatted and he was so kind, so sincere and so genuine - a one of a kind unique human being - I knew then that I would work very hard to help him win the election. I’ve been on board 100000% ever since.
Our first moment was his Dem convention speech in 2004. I was listening to him, totally rapt, my husband was walking around, heard him, stopped and said “Who is that? He’s saying what I think!” Then he sat down with me and watched the rest of the speech. We both said, “He should be president some day.” That was a ray of hope for us. Then, in Feb 2007 he came to OKC, and we went to hear him. We paid $25 apiece. That was one of the ways he started raising money. The venue was filled, we stood gladly. He said, again how serious this is, it’s not a game, this is real life. He was amazing then, and is more so now. Then his More Pefect Union Speech was amazing, but by that time, we were total supporters.
One speech that does not get enough attention is his speech to the British Parliament a year ago. I don’t know if the media even listened to it, what else is new, but they need to go back to that speech and see that he totally reset international relations in that speech, and is following through on what he said.
I agree, Carolyn, about his address to the UK Parliament. Watched it ‘live.’ Have watched it more than once since …
The historical importance is truly multidimensional.
Thank you so much Bob for sharing this magnificent speech by President Obama to the British Parliament . Sadly, the mainstream media ignored the President’s speeches in Ireland and the U.K., as well as the very warm receptions he received in both countries. As for me, I’ve been following President Obama ever since I read his moving autobiography, “Dreams for My Father.” Of course, like most people I know, his 2004 speech at the Democratic Convention totally converted me, though I didn’t think that he would actually run for President. Like you, the last Presidential candidate who inspired the most was Robert F. Kennedy although I also liked George McGovern very much. Lastly, I just want to thank you for the wonderful job you are doing fighting on behalf of President Obama.
My moment:
I had heard about Barack Obama during 2004 and remember some buzz about him the years after he won his US Senate seat, as black Senators are so rare in US history. I bought “Dreams of My Father” for my brother as a gift somewhere in there (probably in 2006 or 2007), but it wasn’t so much because of Obama’s political trajectory, but more because I thought my brother would relate to his story and background.
It was a slow build for me, but the night that I went all in was the night he won Iowa. I was transfixed as I watched the returns and as soon as they announced his victory and he said “they said it couldn’t be done!” and the crowd exploded, that was all she wrote for me. I was the first person in my neighborhood to have an Obama “sign” — it was a piece of paper with his logo that I printed out from some website and pasted in my front window  .
It’s been quite the ride, and I’m glad to be alive at this time in history.
PJ!! You did come back for the after party, and I gave your drink to Christi because it got so late I didn’t think you were still coming! I’m sorry. I’ll make it up to you….one day.
It’s all good, VC. We’ll pop bottles together on another occasion. Lots of celebrating ahead! :-P
Chips, you continue to top yourself! We are SO PROUD to have Barack Obama as our President and our candidate for re-election. Fired up so far I might fly!
I sooooooooooooooooooo love this….chips….fills me up……
Suh-weet! These reminded me of the sports blog you did a while back (which come to think of it ,could be resurrected and extended upon around Olympic time)! You does good and creative work, Chips Chica! Merci buckets, all the time.
I love my President-Yes, I do! I love my President-how about you?

BTW Chips, did you see the tweets at the end of the previous thread?
Hello and Nite to Chips and my wonderful TOD Family.
Just passing on a beautiful comment from my nurse today. She said.” I have never seen such a loving and intelligent group of people holding conversations, sharing information in a brilliant manner, caring and checking on each other, and most of all so engaged in showing their support for this president. ” Her thoughts. She was blown away, to the degree that the conversations were respectful, clean, upbeat, and so focused on how much a group of people care about what happens to this president’s presidency. She also did not know a lot of the great things that PBO has done for this country as president in such a short amount of time. You know that I did not leave her in the dark any longer.
You know, I have always prayed, “Please do not ever allow me to forget that my illness(no matter what it is or has been) is Not just about me. I have seen so many peoples’ lives touched during my illnesses that it would blown many away. I have always said, “Let me be an instrument of a divine love, and a vessel of grace and forgiveness, no matter who was attending to me during my illness. Well, Chips and my TOD family, my nurse saw that today. I have never met this person until today, and I must say the angels were at work in choosing her to attend to me. I am grateful, But I am also grateful that she saw and appreciated so much a different side of the political soundness of a group of people who care about their country, their president, their fellow men and women, and each other.
TODers, we are a light to so many people. She discussed with me during her time here today, many things that she had so many questions about. Our political system was especially heavy on her mind. She was not aware of the many accomplishments that President Barack Obama has done as our president. We had a great discussion, and most of all, she loved our blog . She was so comfortable that I had to stop her from reading as she set while I was doing one exercise. She was struck by the beautiful closeness and respectfulness that we share. You see, we never know who is watching us, who wants to hear the truth, and when that person(s) will enter into our space during this journey.
I just wanted to share that with you all as I retire to bed. I will make it. The journey’s route has been modified a little, but HZ will stand firm and make it anyway. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I will certainly appreciate all of those. I will get better and be back in Full Swing very soon. Life is precious, and please do not take it lightly TOD family. Be gracious, be grateful to others, and continue to pray and lift up our POTUS.
Good Nite, and I will continue to lift up my Chips and my TOD Family daily. (((((((((((((((( I Love You All))))))))))) HZ
Oh my Lord! I don’t believe this! HZ I was thinking of you all through reading this post and trying to figure out how to say that I felt you were probably ill or there was no way you wouldn’t have chimed in, but I didn’t want to introduce a sad note when I wasn’t really sure of anything. It is so GOOD to hear from you! It will be even better when I go read what you have said! ;) {{{HZ}}}
VC, nothing but love coming from my heart to your thoughts . Thank you so much. ((((((((((((((((( My heart is full))))))))))) HZ
{{{HZ}}} Great to see you again!
HZ, you are amazing. We never do know when people are watching, do we? What a testimonial for our your president you were, and thankfully, how we on this blog helped advance his cause through you. You are being prayed for.
((((((((((( You lift my spirit with much gratitude, Carolyn. Thank you.)))))))))))))))) HZ
{{{{{HZ}}}}} You are always so supportive of others. I do hope you feel all the love and support emanating from us to you through this difficult time.
The other TOD-ist who came to mind tonight, and who periodically comes to mind, is Sue in Minnesota. I often wonder if she is well because I remember that the first time she was absent for an extended period she was in hospital. Sue in Min, if in case you read but cannot respond to us, know that we think of you from time to time, and that we wish you well. {{Sue in Min.}}
Thank you, thoughtful3. I hope my heart will always be a vessel for the support of our beautiful president. I love you all so much. (((( Thank you.HZ))
((((((((((HZ)))))))))) ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Thank you, PJ. I miss your quotes. ((((((((( My spirit feeds upon the goodness of you all here)))))))) HZ
((((((HZ))))))) God Bless, Get Well, and Good Nite.
(((((((((((((((((((( jojo, thank you so much))))))))))))))))))) HZ
HZ, just as you are our spiritual guide, soothesayer and sage, I pray that God’s healing grace moves in you and through you today and always. Love you, dear! Get well soon.
((((((((((((((((( Dudette, I thank you for your kind thoughts. Your music shared here always lifts my spirit, so thank you for your prayers.)))))))))))HZ
:D :D :D
Just beautiful….wow….thank you Chips!
A little anectode from the President’s visit today
President Obama made an unscheduled stop to the Kozy Corner diner in Oak, Harbor, Ohio and turned down the offer to sign a dollar bill by a young man.
His reasoning was a good one, as it’s actually illegal to do so. Obama politely declined doing the autograph and being the lawyer by training he is, was able to explain it’s a federal offense to write on currency.
He said it simply and kindly,
The president offered to sign something else, but it’s unclear if or what he found as a replacement item.
Wow, I didn’t know that. My President — ever the teacher, ever the moral compass.
How about 20 reasons why we love Chips!
1- because she is simply the BEST.
Because she is so positive.
Now see Me4obama, you’ve just made my cheeks look like a red hot chili pepper! Thank you, you’re lovely.
Her dedication to our President and all Americans.
She is a hawtie.
Ahem, a little more please? eg “She’s a sizzling piece of exquisiteness”?
Now you’re fishing for compliments.
Maybe I’m just fishing on a star :-(
She’s hilarious…I love Chips sense of humor.
Because she “lost” that Mankini pic of Newton Leroy.
Ooooooooooooooh no I haven’t LOL, it’s stored away for special occasions, so just you behave, ya hear? :-)
:D :D :D :D
Wicked sense of humour.
Because she is a true Obamabot! :-).
We love Chips because she presents everything she gives us with grace and style, in proper format and even grammar and punctuation and spelling, and puts up with all of our diverse natures and personalities because she knows we love President Obama, which - to me - shows she just LOVES producing The Obama Diary. And it’s one of life’s great joys to hang with somebody who loves what he or she is doing in life, even if it’s only one part of her life, in this case!
said in such a perfect way…jackie…
Thank you very much, and, of course, Chips is the inspiration. :)
Because she has the grace of creativity and style like a brilliant chef presenting his/her most delicious dish; and the hands like those of a brilliant sculpture, and the heart of a loving and precious mother; the eyes that searches like the gentle and beautiful ten gifted fingers of a brilliant surgeon., that is our Chips. HZ
Ah, yes. Beautiful, HZ.
Cause Mama don’t take no mess!
Because she never gives up (like a certain President I know) we can count on her to be here for us in good news and in bad.
Because she never gives up (just like PBO) we can count on her to be there for us, good news or bad.
I absolutely second that, Me4obama! Chips has created such a magnificent blog. This thread is so heartwarming and unforgettable. But I come here everyday for unfiltered news, informed commentaries, humor, and the overall sense of community that I think explains why we all support President Obama. Thank you so much CHIPSTICKS for this wonderful blog you’ve created. I know I always come here late but that means I get to read and appreciate everything.
Chips, this is a beautiful, soul-stirring presentation. Thank you for putting so many thoughts into words; it means so much.
I think you are a compassionate genius. So glad to know ya.
I love her patience, sense of humor, hard work, and great threads. I also like the fact that she does not judge us and permits freedom of expression as long as it is respectful of others.
Wait a minute there, COS! What’s the rest of us to do if you take so many?
I could not help myself VC. It just poured out. :)
COS, my dear, words pouring out is something i can so identify with.
One point per person, please.
#20 - Personally speaking, I love Chips Chica because she is ,,,,,,,,Chips Chica!
CC: Thank you for opening the gate to TODville and welcoming us inside so warmly, and for treating us to such goodies day after day! We feel pampered and spoiled , and special, AND WE LOVE IT AND YOU!:
Oi, stop right there (I love VC because she’s VC - and can’t help it).
And she did try (to help it), particularly in her earlier years.
 Don’t try to help it VC, stay just the way ya are ;-)
Love fest, love fest, love fest!!
Isn’t it great?  I remember once discussing with a group of teenagers why it seemed easier to give and ‘accept’ criticisms and insults, yet much more embarrassing to give and accept compliments and praise. One of the things I remember them saying was that they had had lots more practice with the former.
You’re seriously lovely Eve, thank you.
By the way: WILLARD RELEASE YOUR FFKKNN TAX RETURN. WILLARD RELEASE YOUR FFKKNN TAX RETURN.WILLARD RELEASE YOUR FFKKNN TAX RETURN.WILLARD RELEASE YOUR FFKKNN TAX RETURN.WILLARD RELEASE YOUR FFKKNN TAX RETURN. We just need to friggin ballistic on this now!! What is the douche HIDING????
You know why Mitt Romney refuse to show respect to President Obama, because he is a black man. Mormons like Mitt does not respect blacks.
I think it’s because he’s afraid that if he shows respect, he will lose the majority of his supporters. They SO want someone to put Obama in his place and if Romney is perceived as being nice, the loons will abandon him
Yep. The only way for Willard to show his bona fides to the RWNJs — who are wary of him — is to act like a complete ass toward PBO. They want red meat and he’s gonna try his best to give it to them. He’s pathetic.
He is such a COWARD, it’s unbelievable. He absolutely can’t take a principled stance on anything, that’s how so afraid of the wingnuts he is!
Put simply…………………simply the best!!!!!!!
I like that health reform with the check next to it. Is it still available for sale? I don’t see it at the Obama campaign store…
Thank you so much Chips for the wonderful post today!
My pleasure Auni, thank you.
I ditto that, Chips. I wonderful cap-off to all of the great posts today, and always. Your’s and bwd’s are the only two I go to. Thanks for all that you do!
Thank you thoughtful3.
The photos say it all. In my 60 plus years haven’t seen a president yet who connects with people, with me, like our President Obama.
Wow, Chips, this is one for the ages. Thank you, thank you so very much. So inspirational and touching.
Bookmarked and shared! Chips, you keep outdoing yourself!
Thank you CTGirl, but this President makes this kind of thing sooooooooo easy. Thanks again.
I sooooooooooooooo luv this thread! Moved me to tears. Posted it on FB! Thanks for all you do Chips. As trinisamba said, you truly ARE simply the best. {{{{{{hugs}}}}
That DARLING LITTLE BOY in the first picture. Oh My GOODNESS!!! He is just so precious. Central casting Hollywood couldn’t have done any better!!!
And just like that country singer Brad…(forget his last name) said about his own children, I am so proud that for countless children across the country, President Obama will be the first president they remember. How cool is that???
Wow! He said that?
Yeah he did. Brad Paisley…. Here ya go…
Thanks for sharing!
iTunes here I come! :-). That was lovely!
Well what the hell did he have before?
Oh, cool, he’s already panicking and making course corrections and it’s only July. Heh.
A communication staff has to have something concrete to communicate…..although, Republicans do seem to spin trash out of nothing.
A gazillion thanks to everyone for the kind comments tonight, really thrilled you liked the post. Thanks again, you’re the best.
Perfect!
You’ve outdone yourself Chips! These are just beautiful.
Ms. Chips, I have no words to express the gratitude I have for you in creating this site. The pictures are wonderful and the links are beyond necessary for anyone who is trying to get informed and stay informed.
TOD - Thank you for all your links. I actually feel I am more informed on the issues than I have ever been in the past.
Chips - STOP adding these photos. How’s a person supposed to get to sleep, after lookin’ at that guy’s All American smile all day and all night, indicative of the kind of President he is and the kind of President we want for four more years? I want to just march on over and join the damn bus tour. STOP it. :)
Chips….
my favorite is the belonginggggg…..
From the look of tomorrow’s schedule I’m not sure when my shopping and the other stuff I need to do before next week’s vacation will get done! Waaa-il! Wail! There’s not enough time in between events to dash to the bank and other places and still get back in time to not miss anything! :( It is all Pres Obama’s fault! If they had given the schedule in two day packages I would have known that I should have gone shopping today, between the 3:40 and 7pm events. Rats!
Hi TOD family been very busy running up the miles and not time to write a comment read every chance I get though.I can tell you from first hand experience there were a lot of police presents on the OHIO Turnpike today with our President in area.I had a stop in Cleveland and was on the pike near Sandusky,OH near state highway 250 trying to get of the pike but couldn’t there was so much traffic, that’s when I remembered the President was in the area. So I made it off at another exit and did my drop in the Cleveland area and now heading southwest to the house in Houston and time off for 30 days glade to get it now, I can campaign to keep Our President in office. PRESS ON EVERYBODY and don’t believe everything the media says about this being a tight election because around a lot of places people are seeing that the GREED OVER PEOPLE PARTY AND IT”S WONDER BREAD MAN IS JUST OUT AND OUT LYING TO US ALL.
Hi, stranger! How’s life on the road?! You must get a feel for all that’s going on with all your travels….we just keep moving forward…keep talking to those truckers:) American jobs!!! Glad to see you:)
Hi desertflower, glade to see you are OK yes been driving like crazy making that last payment on the last rig I’m buying so the sons can have everything free and clear and after taxes keep more for their families and themselves and me and Mama can rock the grand babies and watch them grow in a better America and fight to keep it the best it can be.Because if we don’t fight the GREED OVER PEOPLE PARTY THEY WILL RUIN A GOOD THING TO THE CORE> So keep on fighting and I will too. Going to catch a little sleep and heading Home to Mama.
How sweet of you wesleya.
Nice:) Love a man with a plan! Night, wes…say hi to mama! Safe travels and a relaxing month off.
wesleya17 - So glad I’m on the blog to say goodnight to you - my son was an OTR trucker at one point, so I know how hard that travel is, especially when you have to detour for a President-in-Town! Happy trails to you, and thanks for the inspiring words!
GORGEOUS round up, Chips!
I loooooooove “Spike” from the video, and his pals, too. Goodness, Ohio rocked it today. PBO is a long distance runner and he’s been pacing himself. Can’t wait to see what he has up his sleeve as he enters the home stretch! ;-)
Completely and utterly inspiring post, Chips. You are a goddess.
Chips, I love, love, love, this thread. Thank you so very much. The children make smile everytime…I love how children look at PBO, it is as they are look at and speaking to his soul…their spirits are connecting!! Amazing photos and an amazing thread…absolutely one of my favorites.
Thanks again.
Chips, I love this! You’ve really captured the main reasons why we continue to fight for PBO. I will spread the word(s) :)
Chipsticks, everyone has said everything I wanted to say about this magnificent post. I just wanted to simply add my thanks not only for this post but for all you do to keep us focused on fighting for this great man we elected President. Personally, I think your greatest strength is your great sense of humor. It’s no wonder that you have attracted kindred souls, like Amk forObama, Yardarm, lisalovesObama, and others that make life more bearable for people like me.
Awesome president! Four more years!
Chips, don’t know how you do it, but I am so glad that you do. From all of us from the bottom of our hearts, Thanks!
Thank YOU Mae!!!
For me it was after seeing him and Mrs. Obama on the Oprah show. He was already a senator but was so down to earth and honest. I later read both of his books and just knew that if he ever ran for president, I would support him. During the primaries my husband supported Hillary and discussions in our family were never dull. 2008 was the first time I donated to a campaign. I just think President Obama is a great human being and one of the greatest presidents our country has had.
This is well done with pictures and captions that elucidate the post.
Brilliantly done. Thank you so much.
love, love, love the pics and love, love, love this site!!!! Always makes me feel proud and gives me hope! Thank you!
