Hiya LP, Twiitter is fine, just some funny glitches with DM alerts, but WP a disaster after their photo editor changes. Lots complaining, so *hoping* they’ll fix it asap!
I tried a test draft on my blog and didn’t see any immediate problems….. I’ve been in class all day what did they change on photo editor that is causing havoc?
They’ve removed the resizing option on photos (when you were able to select a percentage), so you can’t enlarge them. They say the new way does work for enlarging, but as they’ve been told several gazillion times on their forum, it doesn’t! It’s just a bummer for any photo-oriented blogs, like this, that are optimized width wise for pics. Clinging to the hope that it’ll be fixed by morning, otherwise the pics from China and the Netherlands will be miserable!
Yes, I did notice that….. I was updating the thread I was working on and the biggest aspect ratio I can get is 594×396 for ‘full size’ I wasn’t sure if it was the photo service that changed because they usually have much larger prints. I did notice if I find the photo somewhere else that does have a larger frame it will transfer to uploads in the larger form, but can’t manually do it in WP. I hope they heed your call……
I found a way of doing it manually too, although a bit hit and miss, but if you have a bunch of photos in a post it takes flippin’ forever! Grrrrrrrrrr!!!
If they don’t change I may need an assist later this week…unless you have a good photo service to utilize. I don’t know if you noticed, but yesterday Getty removed the ‘share’ option, and on their website the biggest they have are 600×400…another thing I have on my to-do list.
Ok the embed option is back……wasn’t there last night……..but I just uploaded 2 pics to libraries….check them out….432×594 is the largest aspect ratio in ‘full size’ do you know how to enlarge? Do you get larger options from Getty?
I blinked and you started a new post! So I will re-post my comment,

He’s doing VERY well, dear one. He’s moving around just great. Still has to avoid lifting objects with much weight for a bit though. Calls himself “The Tin Man” because of all the rods and pins they put in his back, but he’s having very little pain. Made sure to get off the hard pain meds quickly. He’s starting a “strenous, athletic” physical therapy program later this week per doctors orders. Have to say, I haven’t seen him stand so straight and tall in years. It’s wonderful to see!
I’m sure he got tired me hugging him yesterday. I’m just so happy for him! We’re a hugging family [just like the Obamas], but I likely smothered him a couple of times. Next time I’ll just punch him in the arm, like I did when we were kids. :-D

I missed out on the earlier birthday party for Aretha Franklin, so I wanna get in on some of that action now.
This is one of my favorite Aretha moments as it “surprised” many who were unaware of Ms. Franklin’s musical (and vocal) range. This is from the 1988 Grammy Awards.
“Twenty two minutes after she was asked to cover for her ailing friend, Luciano Pavarotti, Aretha Franklin takes the stage to perform the legendary aria “Nessun Dorma”, a piece she sang previously a few days earlier (in her own register, I might add), without changing Pavarotti’s key - which is no minor achievement. It begets one of the most extraordinary musical moments in awards show history. It brought the audience to a thunderous ovation.”
Thank you for bringing this one to our TOD family to share in Ms. Franklin’s birthday celebration. I love this one so much. I have it on all of my iPods. She brought the house down when she did this for a glorious performance of this great Aria.HZ
