It feels to me as if the press is going through a very different phase right now. Everyone is taking on everyone else in a very in your face kind of way. The real investigative journalists are I am sure just doing their difficult and valuable jobs but the pundit class are going at it right and left. Makes me think of the Bundy bunch going after each other. Couldn’t be more amazed at the infighting. Maybe Jon Stewart’s work over the years to out the hubris is paying off.
It’s the hubris indeed, but without the requisite talent behind it. That’s what angers me most.

Propaganda slanted poll numbers for a President not running for re-election are irrelevant.
288,000 families with new paychecks is great and good news. Shouldn’t be in the same story—2 unrelated things.
I’d like to see POTUS unload on the Liars. Mercilessly. Also on the sabre-rattling chicken-hawks. This is a big chance to reach a wide audience and President Obama does this stuff better than anybody else.
