And for me, what a most considerate fellow. Caught the very end of Vicki Kennedy, loved the part about the puppy, and then, Voila, PBO stepped forward, and I settled back. Delighted to have heard the entire address. And was fascinated when the snow started to fall.

…for the past 6+ years it has been chamber of obstruction towards the President….the Letter to Iran….the threatened bill to increase sanctions on Iran…the historic number of Filibusters…even now Loretta Lynch waits for confirmation…longer than any other nominee for attorney general in the history of the Senate…

The great lions of the Senate are passing on or away. Kennedy was one of the greats. The Senate he loved no longer exists. I wonder if we will ever get it back. Congratulations NCLB on getting the top spot.
Yes, Judith, and the road kill refuses to step aside. Some have no dignity left at all. No names need be mentioned. PBO nailed every single point of how the Senate and Congress are being dragged off the rails by dark money, and the madness of the lobbyists. These things all needed to be said, clearly, no mincing words. I have a feeling Uncle Teddy was standing in close intuitive contact while this speech was being formed and written.
I had the same feeling, MP. All of the Kennedy brothers were there in spirit, nodding in agreement with all our President said.
That settles it, then, jg. The ones we love and who love us are never far away.

Went into the Lion’s Den….straight and strong…came out unscathed…but the Lions all felt his mark!
He is the Leo, he knows how to take that command!! With his ascendant in Aquarius, he clearly sees the future, and knows in his heart and mind how to bring it into concrete form. I prayed for all those who fight against supporting him in our progress as a race. I prayed that they will wake and understand the damage they do. I prayed for his continued strength and health, and I prayed that our First Lady knows she is loved and appreciated for the heavy load she carries in walking beside him, with us.

Pf, it was powerful and riveting. Teddy Kennedy seemed so real through PBO’s words, I felt I really missed his bigger-than-life presence. And there were tears in my eyes when President Obama said of Kennedy, “I owe him a lot. He was my friend.” He said ‘friend,’ in a way that meant a deep friendship of the heart-the kind that only occurs a few times in a lifetime.

Do they ever “poll” what Dems feel about GOP? If they do are the results ever publicized? More marginalizing the Dems and promoting the belief that the only opinions that matter are those of the white folks party (i.e., the GOP).
