I was able to watch yesterday’s WH press briefing, and Josh Earnest gave a “preview” of PBO’s speeches in KY and UT :) .
Josh said that PBO’s budget proposes the elimination of inheritance taxes for those estates worth less than $11 million. Josh said that closing this loophole would collect $300 billion dollars. I’ll have to check with my accountant on how this affects the portion of my estate that’s worth more than $11 million, LOL ;) .

Hey TOD! I’ve been missing you guys big time. I’ve been spending a lot of time with my mom as she recovers from brain surgery. I want to thank everyone for their prayers. She came through like a a champ, the hardest part is recovering from the pre and post op drugs that have adverse side effects. but the surgery was a success. I refuse to follow any politics in depth if I can’t track what’s happening with TOD first. So I feel out of touch for the whole month of March. TOD is such a major part of my world that I want you to know that I miss you and keep you in my prayers even if you don’t hear from me for awhile.

PBO said he was going to talk to the Congressional leadership today, so I think that look of determination is for the calls he needed to make when he boarded the plane. The idea of talking to Boehner and McConnell about an issue as complex as the Iran agreement has got to seem pretty grim, even to the President.
With these two I think he knows he has to put it in political terms. Maybe not so much McConnell but definitely Boehner.

The important thing is that those awaiting Pres Obama’s presence, waited happily and I bet, they were happy to see him.
I’m always somewhat amazed - given the “christianity” of the US that Good Friday is not a major holiday. In my country we have holidays Friday through Monday. The only things open on Good Friday are churches - and our country is not very religious.
