No Child Left Behind, I agree 100%. If Senator Obama were running around saying the things Trump is saying, those same people who think Trump is just wonderful for saying those things, would had a dam fit if Barack Obama were saying it.

Nerdy, these photos are just so wonderful and life affirming. You have President Obama working to ensure Americans that he, the Armed Forces and his national security team on are on the job and getting it done re ISIL. And there is our FLOTUS bringing love, reassurance and joy to children. The is what calm leadership, sanity, decency and goodness look like. And then you have the hate spewing nut jobs who only want to destroy and inflame fear. The contrast could not be starker.

    Hi Family!

Had to pop in a share this hilarious rap from Lin-Manuel Miranda and Stevie-C about the namesake of my county in Georgia!

    • 73 MadameSoph
      December 15, 2025 at 12:22 am

I had no idea there was a county named Gwinnett. If I did at one time, I didn’t know who it was named for.

I loved this and watched it several times over again! I thought to myself, “Now all of these people will know this random fact that a guy named Button Gwinnett signed the Declaration of Independence. I bet they make a Jeopardy question out of this one day!”

Now you Dudette have brought me more knowledge! For that, even though I’m not a Gwinnettian, I’ll give an honorary “Ho!”

By the way, Jon Batiste is on the mic in the background; can anyone tell what part of the beat was him?

      Good morning Dudette,

Just want you to know that as I start my typically very early days - already been at it for more than an hour - it is a special treat when I get a bit of a break and can view the tweets you collect, during the previous evening, for us. Thank you so much!!!
