I am watching Trump’s Immigration Speech on MSNBC and am scared to death. He is back to his shouting, accusations, false promises, and new ideas of other countries paying for new change ideas. His crowd is wildly pumped up. Scary. He has angel Moms representing parents of family killed due to deaths by illegals. His crew is making him look more feasible. Well, guess I better donate to Hillary again!

Gee, that’s funny, because Bill Kristol (who hates Trump) is saying tonight it was a good day for Trump. UNREAL.
Actually, I was worried that Trump would make inroads with his day and speeches today. Did I think he represented us well, was stately, or a good candidate? No, I hated him even more, but I am afraid his performance although mostly lies, fearmongering, hate filled and full of false promises suited those that have those same wishes.
As a retired elementary teacher I think this video would be great at the beginning of the year Teacher Inservice Day before the first day of students arriving at school. The schools I worked in had a combination of both kinds of teachers just like people in general are both positive and negative. Most teachers tried to project a friendly atmosphere for the students and were teachers due to a love of children.
And there we have it… imo, the media is doing for Trump just what they did for Bush & the Iraq war. Today is the first time I’ve actually been worried about this election.
Not if all the sane start to vote.

I must say, that speech motivated me to scrape up a few more dollars to donate to HRC’s campaign. I can’t believe some are still trying to say that he has softened his stance.
I am writing my check out right now after Donald’s speech. Listening to Rachel hit it out of the park giving a historical timeline about immigration ugliness in the US and how Trump fits into it. I am back to scared again after a couple of weeks being able to breathe.

Bill Kristol tried to claim it was a good day for Trump because he went to Mexico and stood on the stage with the Mexico President. Isn’t that amazing, a dam dog could have flew to Mexico and stood on the stage with the President of Mexico.

It’s always interesting to me that the negative(s) associated with immigrants only seem to apply to POC. You would think that there’s only a southern border to the U.S. If the rhetoric were applied equally to European immigrants, more people would probably reject it and push more for immigration reform.

The media really has googoo eyes when it comes to Trump. Now they are working overtime to convince the American people that he’s presidential and deserving of their votes. I hope everyone here has gone and seen the wonderful movie “Southside with You” about the first date between the Obamas. It was funny and very romantic and gave us a glimpse into how they fell in love. Loved it!

Donald Trump’s Wednesday night speech full of hard-line views on immigration prompted one member of his National Hispanic Advisory Council to resign, Politico reported.
Jacob Monty resigned from the board following the Phoenix speech, telling Politico that he was disappointed in the rhetoric Trump used in Phoenix.
“I was a strong supporter of Donald Trump when I believed he was going to address the immigration problem realistically and compassionately,” he told Politico. “What I heard today was not realistic and not compassionate.”

The Southern Poverty Law Center acquired a membership directory for the Council of National Policy, an ultra-secret conservative group, and Donald Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway and his campaign CEO Steve Bannon were listed as members. The directory is for 2014 and indicates that Conway was a member of the executive committee that year and Bannon was listed as a regular member. Neither official responded to a request for comment from The Daily Beast.
The secretive organization was described as wanting to be the conservative version of the Council on Foreign Relations and it is home to a number of individuals with fringe beliefs, including World Net Daily writer Jerome Corsi, a popular figure in the Obama “birther” movement.

I love this 103 year old woman and wish every girl and women in the country would listen to her narrative. This election isn’t just about electing the first woman to the highest office in the land, it’s about choosing the future with its rich and wonderful diversity or falling back into an old and dishonorable closed society ruled by privilege and skin color. Whenever I feel tired and discouraged, I think of the stark choices we have and push myself to do more in this election. I don’t want to wake up to disaster on November 9 and wish I could have tried harder.
