Where COULD we be if a handful of GOP Senators had this moral character?
Since none of them appear to, we have to follow Plouffe’s advice and do everything we can to flip the AZ and NV seats – and challenge the others with all we’ve got.
What a bright sweet light in my day. Congratulations on First, Dee, and all good things to my TOD Familt, today and every day! Thank you for this treasure, NerdyWonka, and for all you do.

I was thinking the other day about the F.B.I. and its continuing attacks from the Republican Party and how damaging psychologically that could be to some Americans. The F.B.I. is being attacked day and night, Iām sure they are saying to themselves where is the justice. The average citizen says to himself or herself how can this be, how can a law enforcement organization come under attack by an entire political party and the three branches of government? But then I think about the sixties and the seventies and the eighties and the nineties and the 2000ās and how African Americans were treated by law enforcement agencies. You can check the F.B.I.ās record regarding MLK, the Black Panthers, the Black Power Movement, Malcolm X, the NAACP, SCLC, and any person or group that tried to seek justice for African Americans. This canāt be the same F.B.I. that jack-booted (Cointelpro) African Americans since its inception in 1908, that now acts so feeble when it comes to the attacks from the Republican Party. I try my best to be fair, but as a black man I tend to see things through the prism of being a black man, of being an African American. For some Americans the F.B.I. and by extension the Department of Justice are above reproach and cannot be questioned. Some of us know the Department of Justice, we know the F.B.I., and we know their history because we have the receipts. I have faith that in the end good will defeat evil and justice will overcome injustice, but in the meantime, everything that has a history should be examined in the bright unforgiving light of day.
p.s., this is a more moderate version of what I had written, itās almost a new year and Iām trying to be gentler.
What’s also bizarre is how the AA NFL players kneeling is so disrespectful and how the Orange Turd lambast them for disrespecting police yet they are disrespecting war heroes like Mueller and the TOP cops in our country. I hope all those FBI agents that preferred DOTARD to Hillary are very happy.
And it is not those who LE repressed and attacked who have turned on them When the FBI began to investigate the oppressors – suddenly that GOP stopped being the 100% supporters of the FBI

Everything you said is true — and what the GOP is good at is offense, meaning regardless of who is in power, Dems are *always* on defense.
They're doing it now with this month's Alabama Senate election — and you just *know* that this GOP's attempt to undermine any notion of that the grotesque monster occupying the WH is an illegitimate "president."

(2/2) "Moore's attorney wrote in the lawsuit that he believed there were irregularities and said there should be a fraud investigation and eventually a new election."
I think it’s more than just a tantrum — IMO, it’s part of the GOP “strategy” to ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK in order to rile up their base. Meanwhile, our corporate MSM do their part by framing “stories” (not actual journalism) as #DemsInDisarray aka Dems on the defense:

so many whites, men/women, young/old, rich/poor, left/right, are always the whiny I want my pony, NOW kind. this despite having things much, much better than others.
This is very preliminary math but right now – even factoring in all the gerrymandering – Democrats win at least 38 GOP US House seats at current numbers – and it could go as high as 60. My best current guess: Mid 40s. If you are thinking of running, DO IT.
I think many people realize there are now ZERO checks and balances against Trump. He’s even got SCOTUS in his pocket. So I’m hoping common sense, history and the will to protect our fragile democracy comes into play starting NOW.
Even ol’ Howard Dean said on MSNBC this morning that it’s time for a new generation to run for President – he mentioned Kamala Harris and a few others. I said that when that guy Barack Obama was running – that the remaining best (because he’s the best) of his generation needed to fully take over, from that point on!!!!
I just don’t understand why every democratic organization out there doesn’t follow the blueprint that President Obama developed/used to become President. If baffles me why they don’t have him on speed dial.
Those outside his immediate circle (and I’m including all of us in his immediate circle, just talking political folks here) have been too jealous, from day one, I’ve always thought. So many people “got it,” but they didn’t think of it, so they wander off down other lesser paths, looking for personal credit and glory, still un-found. Own worst enemies = many Democrats. Gotta love ’em.
There have been some articles lately that even if the Democrats retake the House and possibly the Senate, they may not begin impeachment because it would divide the country. I don’t know where this is coming from but anyone with any sense can see Trump is the biggest divider ever imagined AND he’s ruining our democracy and that is the most hideous rationale possible. So please, let’s everyone keep reminding Democrats that when Mueller and/or Schneiderman are able to come forward with findings, they MUST take action.
Remember when they said that to know certain things about our elections that Russia would need INSIDE HELP? Someone that understood the way American elections worked? Turns out, it could be the RNC. Karma will come calling and it will be a bitch:)
This unfolding story links Russian hacker Guccifer 2.0 and the RNC, including Speaker @PRyan, to key downballot races in 2016. Watch this space! https://t.co/E71IALLf4k
I can’t find the tweet/article now, but I know its been reported that Paul Ryan and RNC gleefully accessed the WikiLeaks hack to target specific Dem House races in 2016. Will post here if I’m able to stumble upon it again.
Love your little nuggets of knowledge:) I think that they hacked the RNC as a diversion to say, “See, we hacked those, too!” but never weaponized them to the public…they WOULD have, had someone with knowledge of the plan gotten a case of morals….but as we can see, that never happened. They are all complicit.
That’s where the GOP’s greedy short-sightedness will hopefully come back on them, DF: They were so busy accepting the part of the Russian hacking that benefited them, they didn’t plan for having their information used to control them when it WASN’T to their advantage.
We have emotional transparency with Trump; we know when he's lying or having a tantrum, like with a toddler.
But they're less transparent in every other way: withholding documents, few pressers, hiding content of bills in process, trying to shut down investigations, etc…
Some days I fantasize about what it would be like to have a strong and honest press not polluted by corporate ownership/obedience along with a Congress that cared about our democracy more than lining their pockets and pleasing their donors.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO DEFEND THE VOTE….As we see with Roy Moore’s court challenge …nothing is ever done…we have to keep that in mind…that they will not go down without a fight…and neither must we….aka…the vote in VA…the DEM challenger…. she is not accepting what the GOP is doing…she is fighting…….is taking it to court…we have to do this….THE STRUGGLE WILL ALWAYS CONTINUE!!!
#1 DEFLECT BLAME. Criminals seek others who may have conducted themselves poorly in order to unload or distribute blame rightly assigned to them. Trump does this with ex-aides like Manafort, Flynn, and Papadopoulos, who he presents as little known by him and/or having gone rogue.

So many people “got it,” but they didn’t think of it, so they wander off down other lesser paths, looking for personal credit and glory, still un-found. Own worst enemies = many Democrats. Gotta love ’em.
^^^ Not sure that rambling made sense!
Morning everyone.
And I’m certain that PBO’s number is as low as it is because the GOP committed themselves to blocking his progress whenever possible.
Remember when they said that to know certain things about our elections that Russia would need INSIDE HELP? Someone that understood the way American elections worked? Turns out, it could be the RNC. Karma will come calling and it will be a bitch:)
GM DF.
I can’t find the tweet/article now, but I know its been reported that Paul Ryan and RNC gleefully accessed the WikiLeaks hack to target specific Dem House races in 2016. Will post here if I’m able to stumble upon it again.
There’s so many things that have literally driven me bonkers this year, with everything related to the grotesque monster occupying the WH and his equally greedy and amoral Cabinet — but I also feel like I’ve been living through dĆ©jĆ vu all over again (to quote Yogi Berra).
Stories that are being reported as *BREAKING NEWS* have been being reported for AN ENTIRE YEAR….
That’s where the GOP’s greedy short-sightedness will hopefully come back on them, DF: They were so busy accepting the part of the Russian hacking that benefited them, they didn’t plan for having their information used to control them when it WASN’T to their advantage.
yup, the turd is very good in distracting the 3rd rate msm with shiny objects.
Excellent thread:
Barack Obama will never ever be a “regular guy.” Humph.
Good grief.
Thought he was waiting for GOD to guide him…..sounds more like he’s listening to SATAN.
Truly sad. She fought the good fight for all who face police brutality.
New post.
